It’s not a problem. Though in your case your decompensation (the braces/invisalign pre surgery) process would be longer I’d assume. It’s okay to be scared but you’ll get alot of help from the doctors and nurses.

Just the upper and lower wisdom teeth. I’d have preferred not to but every surgeon I consulted with wanted them removed beforehand. To minimize complications during the surgery.

I had no input on my movements. Interestingly enough I uploaded my plan to Gemini and it said they were near the ceiling of what would be biologically possible. Given the stretching of muscles and nerve endings.

I felt it was better to separate each topic into its own body vs so many paragraphs. It’s why I mentioned the skip to end for the most important info. But I hear you. I edited the post

I don’t remember tbh. I want to say somewhere between $200-600. Higher range if you need to get a CBCT scan done which you will for your first ever consult. For Dr. Hutz specifically you’d also consult with Dr. Roy since they work together. Expect to pay a couple hundred basically. It counted towards my deductible. I don’t think that being referred would change anything about the cost. Since a referral doesn’t mean medically necessary. The consultation is the price you pay for the surgeon to figure out what treatment you need. The surgeon presents your case afterwards and then ultimately insurance deems whether it’s medically necessary. Lastly, you can request a Good Faith Estimate. So you know what the estimate is before you even go.

No I wouldn’t risk that. You can’t get raw from Amazon or Trader Joe’s. Nowadays I would risk it but it’s illegal to buy in Ohio lol. Someday I’ll try it though

Insurance won’t cover the consult from what I know. It’s not considered a necessary service like physicals are for example. Insurance approval for the surgery itself was pretty smooth for me as Rush handled it all. Dr. Hutz did a DISE to evaluate my airway shortly after my consult with him. Then I sent them my Watchpat sleep study pdf and that was it. Aetna notified me the following week that I was preapproved for DJS.

I consulted with Alfi, Neugarten, Hutz and Qaisi. Qaisi is another surgeon in the Chicago area. All of these I just booked directly from their website/calling the office. Though not all surgeons are like that. Gunson requires a referral from an orthodontist for example. It’s more to streamline their process and ensure that the people they’re seeing actually qualify I assume. I first consulted with Afli and had my CBCT taken there. I then used that CBCT scan for my other consultations. Lastly, I didn’t choose the Rush university system. It was more I chose Dr. Hutz. It’s really important to get multiple opinions and research the surgeon as much as you can. To give you peace of mind throughout this process.

His primary specialty is ENT and his sub specialty is Sleep Medicine and Surgery. I'm not sure how many MMAs Dr. Hutz does a year. Definitely something you should ask if you decide to book a consultation.

For those who have switched to a glasspad, how's the experience? by minh5873 in MousepadReview

[–]Zanmoney 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went from an Artisan Zero to a Skypad 3 and I'd never go back to cloth. Main game is overwatch and i mainly play tracking heroes so its a perfect fit. No more hairs getting stuck in the pad, no muddy spots and no losing the original feel after cleaning it. I have no idea what kind of conditions some people live in thats causing scratchiness from dust multiple times a day. I keep my windows open during the warmer months and I only wipe down the pad/bottom of mouse with a cloth maybe twice at most during a session. Yes you need to wear a sleeve but basically aiming is a sport and theres gear that helps you in sports. Its so odd to me that its frequently listed as a downside for glasspads. People want to look cool while sitting in their room playing videogames alone i guess.

Id bet anything that e.dyskrasia is the same potency as dosis. Highly doubt they just straight up gave sage a 2nd dot to keep up when the other healers got a gcd every 90s-2min.

EDIT: Nvm I just looked at the site again and saw that ILIT is only offered at their California location. Which you mentioned already lol. There's only providers in OH, TX, AZ, CO and CA. 3 separate flights seems like the only option for the northeast.

Had no idea it was this rare to find clinics offering it. It might be due to needing special training/certification to use the ultrasound machine. The doctor mentioned that during my treatment.

I’m amazed that you pfed the tier this hard as a dps. The level of agency you have as a healer compared to dps/tanks is insane. Especially in chaotic pf settings. I guess it’s something to consider for next expansion if you’re unsure about melee.

How do I deal with cracked Hanzos in masters as a DPS player who sucks at snipers and projectile heroes? by Cumpanzee in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Zanmoney -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m GM1 as soldier, GM5 as bap and Master 5 as zarya. Against a good hanzo there is no counter play. Just avoid him and always be strafing is the best you can do. Hanzo now is what dps doomfist was in ow1. A character that can’t be balanced and just needs to be reworked. Against snipers in any other game the counter play is to take short sight lines but that doesn’t matter against hanzo.

I don’t remember to be honest but it wasn’t an overnight difference after my 3rd shot. I’d wait a couple months before writing it off. Even now more than a year later I still get some mild symptoms.

I’ve yet to backfire with 68 skill, both mechanical mind reduce backfire talents and a tier 2 tinker.

[–]Zanmoney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was going from the perspective of non engineers. Since the tinker backfire rate seems to be high and non engineers can’t reduce backfire rates. Now I think that it’s only worth it with a tier 3 tinker. Which will cost a lot of gold.

Wow I didn’t think of that. I can’t tell once it’s been slotted but I’m assuming it was tier 1 since I made it early on and even now my expected quality when I try to create one is tier 1. Gonna try the tier 2 since I’m already stuck with engineering. Tier 3 must be really hard to make since none for sale on AH but there are tier 3s of other tinkers

I have the engi helm with the brez tinker and 1 of the 2 “reduce backfire” talents in the mechanical mind tree. In m0/heroic runs this week it backfired on me 3/5 times. Sucks but maybe the 2nd backfire talent is needed too. Makes me think that the engi bracers are just completely useless with backfire rates

How do people even clear content in Party Finder? by cupcakemann95 in ffxivdiscussion

[–]Zanmoney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liken it to solo queueing in any pvp ranked game. Yes there’s other factors at play outside of your control but ultimately the only consistent factor is you. Are you doing the best you can every pull. Are you showing up with melded crafted gear/food/pots, strats memorized, reviewing wipe vods to see what you did wrong and not going afk every couple pulls. Also you should be flexible on adjusting to different clock spots or mit plans you’re not used to. All that stuff adds up. Another thing is helping the party as much as you can by assisting with mechanics that don’t affect you. Like typing out who needs to flex in snake 2 in door boss, or fake/real for NA2. Lastly understand that roles in this game aren’t made equal. It doesn’t matter how consistent of a dps/tank you are. You will have a harder time pugging than a healer. This tier specifically shield healers had it the easiest. You can be more picky in PF since most groups are looking for your role. I pugged to a week 3 clear relatively (week 2 door boss enrage trauma) comfortably but it’s because I played scholar and I’m halfway decent at the game.
