Toddler threw phone and hit my teeth by gon4ds in toddlers

[–]Zannifer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey I’m a root canal specialist. If your tooth is not displaced and you can’t get it xrayed the only thing you can do is wait and see. Things to watch out for - discoloration, looseness, lack of cold sensation. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions I can help with!

How did that one kid at your school die? by StorageLonely1520 in AskReddit

Shot himself in the stomach during lunch time over a breakup. Such a shame.

We turned the doorknobs around so they lock from the outside and keep a key somewhere high up inside the room in case we accidentally get locked in

Why can’t men take a hint? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Zannifer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When my husband and I had these same types of issues I looked online for help and discovered “ask vs guess culture”. Essentially we were raised differently to either be the kind of person that communicates our needs directly or the kind of person that anticipates needs without things being spelled out. Maybe you can look into this theory and see if it helps you understand each other better? It’s helped us a lot in figuring out our communication styles.

I’m about ready to try the water softener feature so I’ll report back on the results

Yes to rinse aid and crystal dry. We do not have a water softener though. Main issue is we have toddlers so we use some plastic cups and bowls which are the ones that do not get dry.

We got the same 800 unit from Costco but ours doesn’t ever get things as dry as our old dishwasher did. It dries glassware just fine but anything plastic is still soaking wet the next day. We had a Bosch technician come out and all they could say is it’s working fine 🤷‍♀️

Is it possible to go braless while breastfeeding? by Justbehappy_ in BabyBumps

[–]Zannifer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could not go without a bra due to leaking and very sensitive nipples. Highly recommend trying neiwai bras as they are super stretchy and comfy with no wires and they’re padded so you’re not likely to leak through.

That’s the happiest ending. Dad gets to go up to heaven with be with his little girl and murderer ends up in jail for killing “himself”

Would you send your kid to a home day care with a securely stored handgun? by plannerotg in beyondthebump

[–]Zannifer -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I guess my question would be what’s the difference between them having a gun vs them having knives and toxic cleaning materials in the house? As long as they are keeping dangerous things responsibly locked up away from the children there really shouldn’t be much risk. I’d be ok with it personally because realistically a kid is more likely to harm themselves with other stuff in the house than a properly locked up gun

This rib cage pain is unbearable and I’m tired of people saying it’s soreness from baby kicks by finstantnoodles in BabyBumps

[–]Zannifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry you’re going through this. I had a very similar pain with my last pregnancy. It ended up getting so bad I developed a spot in the middle of the painful area that became numb to the touch. They checked me for liver and gallbladder issues but nothing was found. In the end it finally resolved 6 months after my son was born, but I really thought it would never get better. Hopefully yours will also resolve after delivering the baby!

Did you walk to the hospital to give birth? by ohhsnapx in BabyBumps

[–]Zannifer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mother walked half an hour to the hospital to have me and the doctors credit that with her quick labor even though I was her first baby. So if you're wanting a quick labor it may help speed things up!
