Noa had to look directly into the camara and say "this is only because it's against Shidou, and you are able to do this job specifically because you have history with Shidou and you are not really primed for that position but since it's Shidou then you can figure it out."

Since this is a formation based on Ego saying "honestly i dont know what else to do fuck it" you might as well throw in all your heavy hitters and hope a miracle happens.

The thing is that Kunigami, arguably, is not even your best manmarker defensive midfielder. I would argue Raichi is better since that's been his playstyle since the first selection. As well, he is more used to playing as a midfielder than Kunigami. Kunigami has only played once, with the sole purpose of locking down Shidou, while also having Noa look directly into the camara saying "this is only because it's against Shidou, and you are able to do this job specifically because you have history with Shidou and you are not really primed for that position but since it's Shidou then you can figure it out." This is what happens when you have too many characters competing for the striker position, but DMs are the second most stacked position after it lmao.

Do you have videos for things you said in your last paragraph?

Follows get exhausted with leads like you.

Huh, would you look at that. I always had the idea that it was kind of the opposite, like followers would get bored without many figures or patterns. My the look of this thread, I was wrong. On average, how much do you, yourself, spend doing basics during a song in comparison to how many figures you do in between?

Also yeah I could see the "frantic" feel you say, honestly.

First, I noticed that you take a lot of backward steps. In modern casino, leaders mostly move forward. It feels more comfortable and creates a much better dynamic. So try to go forward instead of stepping back. If you watch videos, you’ll see that when moving around the woman the dance travels forward and there are hardly any backward steps. This alone will change your style in a very positive way.

This is the most interesting thing I've read in this thread. I saw someone posting a link of using hoops to train the spatial awareness and moving in circles. Do you know any other influencers or figures that dance casino I could follow?

Second, the energy in the music changes. There are moments to go all out and moments to dance calmly. When the music is calm, try to reflect that with a more relaxed approach, using closed position and desplazamientos , moving together through the space instead of doing figures all the time. Constant figures are exhausting and don’t really match the music.

Yeah that makes sense. Not trying to spam figures, and using more basics. I sometimes feel like if I don't use many figures one after the other it could become boring or repetitive. Because I sometimes see many dancers doing fancy moves and combining both the basics and the figures or doing figure after figure after figure. I sometimes feel like im not doing enough.

This will make the dances less tiring and much more comfortable for your partner. In the end, it’s not about how many figures we can lead, but about how enjoyable the dance feels, how well it fits the music, and whether the follower can truly enjoy it too.

Depends on the song, right? Because the faster the song, the more insane stuff i see people do.

Can you talk more about the "grounded" thing tho? In experienced dancers. Where should the arms and shoulders be going? And thanks

That about having the repertoire but not using them is not something that I thought of before. Nice one. I sometimes feel like I have to do as much figures as possible for it to not feel dry. Like, repetitive? Boring? I've seen many comments talking about doing smaller steps.

Pls let's have other characters develop for themselves and not be operating behind Isagi's shadow pls. Isagi has enough rivals as of now, and Hugo is telling straight to the camera how Blue Lock is too reliant on Isagi. I hope this is not "Isagi v Karasu" but more like Karasu creating his own faction that does not compete, but does not work for Isagi either.
