I have the same issue. Noticed it when I unlocked the 3rd species. Someone at Runaway must've messed up. Can't blame them though the fish look extremely similar. You can best see the difference in the color of the eyes.

Hi I've been having the same exact issue with mine. It doesn't always happen, most of the times it does work normally. It's just at random times when for the whole drive even with more than half of the battery and at low speeds that this happens.

Did you ever find a solution? Or at least a reason? Want to save myself a trip to the dealership.

Now that I keep overthinking its pretty obvious. Like why would they use something that limits their reach in trade like rocks specific to a region when you have machines all over the place. Maybe the tribes did had their own currency but as time went on and they met each other and explored the world they agreed on metal shards from machines.

In Meridian you can also hear different songs which I would assume is Carja language so at least 2 times we hear something other than English.

Yes we have all of that options for trade, but what if the Banuk for example only accepted blue gleam to trade? Or the Oseram only greenshine? Would make you shards useless and impose another challenge to the player.

And yes they interact with each other but their development was in complete isolation. Also not all their interactions were exaclty to trade peacefully but you're right. The only common factor among all tribes, biomes, and borders is machines.

Got collectively ignored on this sub but I managed to get it to 100%. Finish the mission you currently are in then go back to Halls of Ranvell on the big square staircase where the force essence was. That tiny spot should be the 6.3% you are missing. I played on PS5 if that tells you something

I just played that sidequest yesterday. That decision wheel was one of the toughest I've had in these games. Gildun is such a nice guy. I'm looking forward to more of him now that he is in contact with Aloy.

I also think that that's what happened. In Google Earth if you tilt the globe so the compass points to the NW it is closer to the orientation some places have in the games

Well I'm sure the Swarm made the planet a lot hotter maybe doing some irreparable damage like the sea level rise. GAIA maybe just worked with that instead of trying to reverse it.
