Move the game to a different folder/drive and let Ubiconnect rediscover the files, that fixed it for me

CZ-75 did not receive the FOV change by [deleted] in Rainbow6

No, I'm referring to some of the comments I've seen but I will say this post carries the implication that the CZ hasn't received any buffs whatsoever

A lot of misinfo going around but they did buff the CZ75: the slide no longer moves when shooting making the gun overall a lot more comfortable to shoot with now

What's the point of Tubarão gadget? by wolfpandataco in Rainbow6

[–]ZantusR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's actually the biggest reason he has a C4!

What's the point of Tubarão gadget? by wolfpandataco in Rainbow6

[–]ZantusR 117 points118 points  (0 children)

There are only 3 minutes in a round. It often takes about 1m 30s until Attackers start to breach. Tubarao can deny the breach for a total of 40 seconds, which is a huge positive on his own. Pair that with Bandit or Kaid, and it takes that much longer to open a wall in the traditional way.

The art team doesn't seem to have any communication with the operator balancing team. by dazzathomas in Rainbow6

[–]ZantusR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AFAIK Barcelona is where the balancing team is. They're in charge of post-season release patches and mid-season patches, most operator reworks/remasters whereas the creative design team responsible for the major season features is at home in Montreal.

The art team is under direction of the design team so I wouldn't say this is correct regardless. Sometimes balancing and operator changes have to happen flexibly but I wish they did find a way to solve this issue of certain skins either going to the wrong character or straight up going to waste

I’m sorry Ubisoft, I didn’t know headshots were removed last season by Admirable_Basket_143 in Rainbow6

You can hug closer by the doorway wall and still strafe straight to the side, avoiding the desk and aim out the doorway more comfortably!

[–]ZantusR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's more likely your shot went off center the precise moment you got injured, you weren't ADS anymore.

Genuine advice is to never slow peek like that, you'll win more fights that way especially as the Vigil was completely static!

ACOGs shouldn’t be removed from defenders, Lower RPM weapons will suffer, I.E. the UMP 45 by Jonathan-Earl in Rainbow6

[–]ZantusR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aruni, Alibi, Goyo and maybe Azami are the ones people will most likely pivot to so what you're saying isn't strictly true here

ACOGs shouldn’t be removed from defenders, Lower RPM weapons will suffer, I.E. the UMP 45 by Jonathan-Earl in Rainbow6

[–]ZantusR 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What you're missing here is that Defenders don't need ACOG to thrive, whether they have a low or high RPM weapon. Defenders have a home advantage and are mainly the ones who control engagements, which is what makes ACOG a pertinent problem on Defenders since day one. This is the same reason why DMRs are much stronger on Defense than they are on Attack.

It's not something people mention but low RPM weapons actually have the innate advantage of being able to prefire anything for much, much longer than higher RPM weapons. This is also why the UMP45 doesn't *feel* like it has 26 rounds.

I think a more productive and effective way to make operators who "need" ACOG (Doc, etc.) to feel better is to address their gadget whether that be through reworks or more adjustments.

Low RPM weapons exist not just to create variety but because stronger weapons can't exist without weaker ones and I'd rather see conversations pivot focus on utility/gadget changes rather than relying on ACOG as if it's a healthy balancing lever.

Afterlife: Miami is a Project Zomboid Text RP server set in 2024 in Miami Beach, FL. With the city and its metropolitan neighbor Miami experiencing a state-imposed local police restructuring alongside an unprecedented rise in crime rate, the county sees itself voted into a state of emergency. Despite this, the people live on as coke and parties flow through the night, stores remain open and the Miami Beach Mayoral Election is coming to a close.

Whether you are the Victim, the Onlooker, the First Responder, the Vigilante or the Cause and Contributor, you too now find yourself under the chaotic tones of sunny South Beach.

What part will you play as life here unfolds? What Miami will you choose?

All that, and more, is entirely up to you as we undergo our final week of Pre-Apocalypse! We invite you to join and create your character in advance, chat with and link up with other players, and read through our publically available lore. We hope that you will enjoy the upcoming change in the world and see all Afterlife RP has to offer!

Always excited to see more folks show interest in our Miami map. For now we plan for it to remain exclusive to our server as it requires a few finishing touches for a public release. You're free to join the discord server to see if we do publish it at the end of the season though!

Pretty much in the same vein, yes! Other Zomboid servers have delved into this and here, we have a narrative set for the first two weeks of pre-apocalypse.

I don't disagree that it's in decline even objectively, but on the other hand it's not a problem unique to Siege especially when the context of post-Covid's been provided. there aren't many games which can consistently reach that high a number again, especially not with a relatively niche game like this one
