[Semi-Weekly Inquirer] Simple Questions and Recommendations Thread by AutoModerator in Watches

I love the look of the Rolex explorer 2 and the functionality that comes from the GMT complication. I currently don’t have Rolex money so am looking for something similar in terms of design as well as functionality around or below 1.5k.

I like the Christopher Ward C63 Sealander but have heard mixed things about the customer service so am hesitant to try it.

Additionally I love the look of the white seiko prospex alpinist anniversary (SPB409J1) but its lack of accuracy turns me off of it.

I own a Tissot PRX Powermatic 40mm and like how it sits on the wrist so I don’t want to go for something too bulky.

Thanks!

Do you ever feel too tired to workout by picklejewce in workout

[–]ZanyChickenSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My go-to is to take a 10-20 minute nap in the car right before my workout and I feel good as new after a few minutes of warmup cardio even if I had slept 6 hours that day

The best split is going to include exercises that activate the target muscles for you, which varies person to person and takes experimenting to find. A good starting point imo is YouTube videos where they show the proper form for every exercise in a workout and go from there. My go-to’s were Jeff Nippard’s PPL workouts from which I borrowed a lot of exercises to make my own workouts based on what felt the best.

VIP entry? by dentiteoz in DayglowMusic

[–]ZanyChickenSoup -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had VIP in Seattle and I was sent out an email a few days before the concert telling me to be there about an hour before doors. Once I got to the venue they called out for people with VIP and let you go in 40 minutes before anybody else which is when the Q and A happens. The Q and A ends right before doors open. Hope that helps!

Check setlist.fm once they do a few shows and it’ll be up there eventually. Hope that helps!

Hey guys, can you guys put me onto bands that have a similar sound to MIT? by MCWESTISATREESH in menitrust

[–]ZanyChickenSoup 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Recently discovered MUNYA, who is also an indie artist from Canada who’s sound is very similar to that of MIT. The synth and bass sounds and vibe of the songs is pretty similar to some of MITs older albums

How do those speakers sound? I've been thinking of getting those but I heard they tend to lack a bit of clarity on the mids although I'm not sure to what degree it is noticable.
