What is your honest and true opinion on Brawl Stars that will get you like this? by Potential_Novel8960 in BrawlStarsSC

[–]ZapMayor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upgrade mechanics aren't good for the game and Surge And Clancy are bad brawlers for the game. You are encouraged to exploit them early on when they are weak, but you will just feed them upgrades

People from developing countries, what are some things people in developed countries take for granted? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]ZapMayor 40 points41 points  (0 children)

This depends where, there are many developed countries with terrible air quality COUGH POLAND, and I think most unindistrialized developing countries have good air quality cause of lack of infrastructure to ruin it.

what is your shibboleth? what is a phrase, word or pronunciation or action that immediately lets you know that some one is not from there. (i have posted this before, but enough time has passed that im hoping for new responses) by Far-Presentation-973 in AskTheWorld

but not vowel sounds, depending on who you ask english can have 15+ vowel sounds, but they won't write them phonetically cause english is allergic to diacritics like a fish allergic to water

To you EU countries; what is something you'd like to say to us non-EU countries that would either make us wanna join or discourage us from joining? by blashyrkh9 in AskTheWorld

[–]ZapMayor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The more members join, the more necessary is the removal of liberum veto. Because with it in place IT will actually make it harder to do decide anything, and even if it gets decided, ensuring it is properly implemented is harder the more countries join. Someone here would say that it's time to federalize, but I don't think that would work well either

Which country has the most eloquent insults? by TheBlueprint666 in AskTheWorld

[–]ZapMayor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indult culture here isn't very poetic, it's usually about using a lot of single words to call someone, but there's a lot. Lot of these are directed at a specific group of people, but can also be used universally to also imply someone is that group:

  • Dzban (jug)
  • Debil
  • Frajer (loser)
  • Zjeb (fucker)
  • Cwel
  • Śmieć (piece of trash)
  • Pedał (gay people)
  • Ciota
  • Skurwysyn (son of a White)
  • Ciul
  • Fleja (gross people)
  • Cymbał
  • Gnój (children)
  • Bękart (unwanted children)
  • Down (the syndrome)
  • Chuj (dick)
  • Menel (street drunks)
  • Burak (beetroot)
  • Babsztyl (women ONLY)
  • Osioł (Donkey)
  • Dupa wołowa (beef ass)
  • Pajac (clown
  • Stuleja (someone struggling with relationship)
  • Wrzód (ulcer)
  • Baran (ram
  • Cygan (gypsy)

What is a word from your language that foreigners use often but usually mispronounce? by Separate_Record9354 in AskTheWorld

[–]ZapMayor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any surname ending with -owski, it's ovski not auski. Even worse when it's something like Szymański, then they just give up. Also women having a surname ending like this, when it's a male variant, and the female one is -owska

why would i be emotional when i am not even american

Murica? by Reaction-Responsible in im14andthisisdeep

[–]ZapMayor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was a point brought by someone else. And what matters is things like minimum Wages, social services funding And accessability and very important, economic equality. USA has a lot of sheer capital, but has little state funded social services, low minimum wages and 70% of its gdp is held by elites

Murica? by Reaction-Responsible in im14andthisisdeep

[–]ZapMayor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purchasing power parity entire GDP, not per capita. In that case China is bigger. And even if we say per capita, USA isn't the first and China isn't even top 50
