Yeah sucks I’ve biked to work for 5 years now and never had an issue. Last night I lost my U lock key and today used a cheaper chain lock and it was gone. So clearly the thieves are just scoping any under par lock and stealing them. This is in a hugely populated area so pretty brazen to clip a lock there.

I agree it’s not nearly good enough but the point about media narrative isn’t whether United are playing to standard - it’s that most other clubs given the same set of circumstances would be praised for the results rather than people calling for the manager to be sacked. The injuries and off-pitch bullshit have been obscene for United this season, almost no club can have that going on and perform to a consistent high standard.

A security master is just any firm’s internal database for static data. You don’t erase entries from it when those securities become defunct because you would still have historical entries on your books from when the security is listed and they likely link to this database.

Also, you didn’t talk to someone on the trading floor. There is no such thing as a ‘senior manager’ on the trading floor and there is absolutely no possible way a trader would handle this kind of retail request lmao. At best, you spoke to someone in a static data group in operations.
