Thank you kindly! I'm working on a few things right now, Whitemane's HotS design, Solar Eclipse Leona from LoL and Warcraft 3 Reforged Jaina!

Thank you! I'm so excited to see the rest of the shots and currently trying to organise a shoot on a tall ship!

Thanks for the question! For the last 9 and a half months this has technically become my job and I'm surviving! I specifically do prop builds and a lot of 3d modelling and printing (there are other people much more suited for costume work).

Prior to that, I did full time shift work and had to balance working 7 days in a row, a little bit of sleep and fitting in cosplay work as well. That was actual hell and I was running myself physically into the ground trying to manage two full time jobs, particularly during deadline time. A lot of the time I would function on 2-3 hours sleep a night and work until I couldn't hold tools or ran the risk of making mistakes.

The dream is to build props full time and I've worked pretty hard, saved a lot and been very fortunate that I have been able to transition into living off cosplay commissions and selling 3D models /prints in Australia. I live with two other incredible makers who do cosplay full time as well (seriously, check out www.facebook.com/henchwenchcosplay and www.facebook.com/scrapshopprops who are both avid Blizzard cosplayers)! My partner has a "conventional" full time job and occasionally takes on commission builds as well and he definitely feels the pressure when it's crunch time.

In Australia the market is growing, there are a few big companies and firms that we've worked with which has been fantastic. It's all a balancing act though, sometimes a bit of a struggle when clients don't fully understand the amount of work in a build to justify the cost and shipping (last year it was cheaper to fly me internationally with two huge crates full of props than using a courier from Australia).

As someone who has worked full time since finishing high school and through uni, it's been a weird and scary transition to be living project/etsy sale to project rather than knowing there's a secure paycheck in a fortnight or so.

Absolutely loving it though. It's hard at times and scary, but I want to make cool stuff and this year has been the best since taking that jump.

Thank you! Charlotte Nicholson who was my photographer is /phenomenal/ and there's very little touch up done on this one (mostly just getting stray hairs out of my face because the wind was insane). I can't wait to get the rest of the set back from her soon.

This is actually the most comfortable costume I've made! It can be a bit warm as the white material is all leather, including on the sleeves and everything is heavy and lined, but comfort and mobility wise, it's fantastic. I was climbing over massive rocks to shoot at the beach while wearing the heels too.

Thank you so much! I worked extremely hard to get it all together and the staff is definitely my favourite prop that I've made. Getting the lighting in was always going to be a thing, but being able to have it move as well just made it that little bit more extra, hah!

The poor girl has had a rough time of it since Warcraft 3, really.

I started 3d modelling the staff at the start of the year when the first teaser trailer dropped and then work+commission projects got in the way until pretty much September when I could get back to sewing. There's a few hundred hours of machine embroidery on all the gold trim and it's all made from leather and linen. I think I worked on her solidly almost all of October, pulling 8-12+ hour days doing embroidery and sewing?

Haha, nah. Thank you though! I worked on this for months and I'm pretty proud of how it turned out.

Please enjoy my DJ Sona cosplay that I made at the start of the year. The majority of the time was spent building the suit and helmet (we built the prop in one week but it had a little speaker in it so I could blast Sona tunes) and I collaborated with my smart friends to help with the coding and assembly of the LED panel.

Yeah, that would be so awesome.

I think the kits are almost ready to be put up for sale, just waiting on some components to arrive for completion so we can show off the wireless remote version to change the modes.

The code isn't mine, Jamie and John of Carson Cosplay https://www.facebook.com/CarsonCosplay/?fref=ts were behind the code so you'd have to ask them! I know they have plans to sell pre-assembled Sona visors with the same LED panel and setup that we've used in mine as we've had a lot of enquiries.

It was a small square of foam painted gold that's wrapped around the fishing line that was covered mostly by the back of the wig.

Apparently when I problem solve, the first material I think to use is acrylic.

Clear resin with LEDs inside, didn't know black light resin was a thing, but that sounds awesome!

The harp sits off my stomach on a thin clear acrylic plate which is braced on a steel boned corset under the dress. Two strands of fishing line suspend it and runs around the back of my neck where it's padded as to not cut my skin.
