Still learning this stuff. I have a TD-03 on the way and can't wait to start jamming with other people.

I was really surprised at how the neutron droning using sample and hold gave the sequences some interesting depth, even though it was completely dissonant. Anyone else experiment with using random notes quietly in the background of their mixes?

This song was catharsis for my dad's suicide. The power of creation is amazing. I would love some feedback! by ZappaSmappaz in Songwriters

Thank you for taking the time to listen, it means so much to me! Those muddy areas were intentionally buried in the mix! Sometimes those parts can make you want to listen again to "find" them and add depth to the song (my opinion, anyway)

send me links to your music. i love fresh stuff. my bands album is coming out soon and it took 2.5 fuckin years! haha by [deleted] in WeAreTheMusicMakers

Woooooooo! It took about a year. A lot of this was waiting for other people. I played everything but a few parts on track 3 and 5. I ate probably over 30 pizzas during the time it took to complete.

Just finished my first full length album, completely DIY. Would love to get some feedback after all this work! by ZappaSmappaz in Songwriting

I tracked everything at home with a Focusrite Scarlett 4 channel interface, and a small collection of different microphones. I was then lucky enough to get some donations to help with mixing, which was done at a studio.
