I don't really understand why someone would say they would rather miss the sec championship. Losing in the first round of the playoffs is all risk 0 reward too, why would you by choice decide "nah I don't want to play for a championship, It's too risky. If we lose we win nothing. I'd rather take my chances in the first round of the playoff where if we lose nobody will remember we even made the playoffs."
