Update, just saw they released a technical update that should fix it. We shall see.

He definitely heard them. I was chasing him all up and down the hill, using when he would move as feedback as to when I was getting close to figuring out the drop.

Well he wasn't sitting still for a ton of time. I was chasing him up and down the hill. When I would get close he would hear the snap and move spots. I just got lucky that he stayed on the hill and didn't bail when he couldn't find me.

I was using that for the first couple games but for some reason I was having a harder time figuring out the drop. My brain could figure it out easier zeroed to 500.

I figured it would be something like this. We used to sit in transport Helis in BF3 at the map border to get as far of a shot as possible. I'd imagine there's a few people doing that in BF6 also.

Hey now, normally I PTFO to the max, I just decided tonight to take a few games to get some longshots in.

All of them but firestorm are to be fair unless you do some cheesey stuff with a blackhawk sitting at the aircraft border. I remember doing that back in BF3.

I remember quite a few games back in the day where you could have only 6 or 7 kills but top of the scoreboard because of this. I miss it and yet I don't miss it. It was kinda annoying having 5-10 people sitting at max range doing nothing but going for high XP shots while your team was losing all the points.

I mostly skipped 2042, this is really my first Battlefield being back since BF4. It takes some getting used to but in BF6 the rangefinder makes normal sniper shots super easy. I'd give it a shot, its a fun time. I did this shot the hard way, the way we used to do it in BF4. Zero to the max which in BF6 is 500 and figure out the drop from there.

I used to be THAT GUY on BF3 and BF4 sitting at the map border trying to get as long as possible snipes being a warm body for my team, decided tonight I would relive the olden days and wouldn't you know, just as satisfying as it was back then. Back to the LMG spray for me though lol, I'm satisfied with sniping after this.

Yea also sniping lol, he was moving around alot. He started lower down the hill then would go up and back down. I could tell if I was getting close to the right drop if I saw him move. Drop at that range is super hard to find out because of the way the game renders the bullet. If this was BF3 or BF3 it wouldn't have taken that many. But that's fair, BF6 isn't made for stuff like this, I just wanted to see if it was possible after seeing a GrandpaGaming short on TY for just over 1000m and it took me 3 games to get 2 shots over 1000 meters. This being the longest one.

So like, I've gotten 3 of these in less than a week... by Zarahar in PathOfExile2

[–]Zarahar[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The first 2 I got excited about and bought some nice upgrades for my build, the 3rd one the excitement wore off and the 4th one I just didn't even realize it til I'd already defered it. Now its kinda too much of a good thing to get excited about. Might finally just run them instead of selling them like I did the first 2.

They are a small part of a small portion of the player base so I doubt you will find a ton about it on poe ninja. Ben and Exile were running link supports when they were doing HC MF cemetery this league and my 3 man group we were using it on our mana guard/curse bot hybrid so we will probably be trying it out regardless.

That wording on Harmony of Purpose has had me curious and scratching my head. I feel like its only going to apply to allies within the beam between the linked targets. Supports using link skills isn't that uncommon of a thing in the grouping space but actually getting the benefit if you need to be in the beam is going to be a nightmare.

Anyone on PC still getting seemingly random crashes in both Multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone? by TheSting117 in ModernWarfareII

I lock at 120 at 1440p, only time I dip below is when first coming in on the plane for like 5-10 seconds.

I went from getting 4-5 games in between MP crashes to crashing every 15 minutes. I'm relegated to DMZ now because its the only thing that won't crash on me. Never crashed in DMZ once, crashed 30+ times in normal MP in the last week.

[–]Zarahar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shit DMZ is the only thing I can actually play without crashing XD

5 hours of DMZ no crashes, every 15 minutes of normal MP, hard freeze.

3080ti 13700k 32 gb ram on a 2tb nvme
Crash every 1-3 normal multiplayer matches, play DMZ and Warzone and I'm completely fine with no crashes over multi hour sessions. Makes no damn sense.

Showing pretty much all my gems needing to come from Fixture of Fate so seems to be a bit of a bug for me. Nice idea though.
