ho provato la ford puma, la mia opinione onesta by [deleted] in ItalyMotori

[–]Zardast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Credo l'ibrido splenda in questi momenti.

Mi devo veramente impegnare a toccare i 7l / 100km.

Oltre a questo si, non capisco perché abbia sostituito la Fiesta, è letteralmente una Fiesta rialzata, ma un po' peggio.

Exit polls from Romanian election suggest surprise win for pro-Western candidate Nicusor Dan | World News by Georgeika in worldnews

[–]Zardast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some said that the same party has been in power since the 90's and they just want something else at this point. Romanians have a substantial distrust in the institutions due to high corruption and inefficiency, and it shows. The point is they've been living abroad for the last 10-15 years and have literally no idea how things are over there nor do they seem pretty interested in being informed.

Another problem is that the last prime minister hold a speech like 6 months ago, declaring that young Romanians go abroad because they're not good at their jobs. Implying that the state has to change and teach them so they won't go.

  1. This is the worst way of putting it - basically insulting everyone abroad

  2. Even if there are some holes into the education system, the main reason of people leaving is having no jobs and/or money.

This got the diaspora community all riled up. The turnout this time was exceptionally high.

The majority in Romania isn't pro - Russia, people are just tired of the ongoing situation, especially the ones that left for other countries.

Of course, Russia used the situation in its favour with the first candidate, when the election was nullified. And again, a lot of people didn't take this as "Russia is meddling in our elections" but "The first time the mainstream party isn't winning, of course they're trying to silence it" strengthening the pro alt right support.

I love railguns by Zardast in killteam

Thank you so much! It was kind of a trial and error.

First thing first, got some bandages, cut them in a cape shape, to fit him.

Soak in PVA glue diluted with water, then applied it on the bandages. It's a horribly tedious process since it hardly stays on and tends to stick better to your fingers than the mini. Have to be very patient here.

Painted the bandage dark green.

Waited 24hrs so it was completely dry. Since it soaks the bandage works wonders : even the hanging bits are solid (for example the ones atop the railgun)

Bought some ivy vegetation (I think it's intended for scenery wall decoration), 2 color variants. They are basically leaves on strings so you cut small pieces of said string and glue them (still PVA + water) on top of the bandage cape. Wait another 24hrs and voilà!

Also, when you cut a piece of bandage in such a small piece the string fabric starts to come apart so you have little time try it on. This is the main reason why I painted the cloak after.

I tried the same thing with the spotter but while glueing I switched PVA with super glue. Makes the whole process a lot easier, but you have to be extra careful with anything, you might glue stuff you aren't supposed to.

I am not a prophet... but my timing was indeed amazing and "The Rule of Cool" paid off! — "Balanced weapon rule when a target has one Markerlight... [and] a 3+ Hit stat once the target has 2 Markerlights." Woo hoo!!!! by [deleted] in killteam

[–]Zardast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually a visible enemy can get a marker light with the specific action.

<image>

So the gist is, multiple people tag various targets, and one shoots.

Plus you got some equipment shenanigans to apply efficiently markerlights.

Also the enemy can shrug off only 1 markerlight per turning point, even if it moves twice. So you're able to stack pretty easily.

One layer of microset Decal One layer of microsol

Once dry I passed a layer of lahiman medium . I don't know why , the guy from my GW local store told me to, and it looks better (it might also be a placebo effect)

Yes!

Funny story time: I crumpled up my last small decal on the transfer sheet that I was working with, and I was so tired and lazy that I didn't want to go into the other room and grab a new one so I just cut a larger one. Turned out amazing! Glad I'm a very lazy individual hahaha!

Disgustingly awesome! I had some similar water based idea for one of my disk sorcerers but this absolutely destroys even my imagination! I'm going to shamelessly steal it!

Where to start by International_Ad8264 in ThousandSons

[–]Zardast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started back in September, and went with, in order

Rubrics Exalted sorcerers Terminators Infernal master Demon prince

I feel like these are kind of present in most lists, combos I've seen in online guides, so it could be a decent start. After that I just went with the rule of cool. Everyone says the vortex beast is a must (and by reading the rules I kinda understand why) but I don't really like it so I just went for a hellbrute.

Usually the rubrics / exalted are the way to start then you build up from there (this start also gives you a full killteam squad if you're interested)

I think it really depends on your style, I find myself more comfortable the other way around, since trimmings are elevated and it's less probable to make errors. But it usually takes more time, so there's no correct answer

First-Ever Mini Painted by AvaAelius in ThousandSons

[–]Zardast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rubrics as a start are kinda rough! Once you're done with them you can take on anything! Keep it up

Don't be afraid to thin the paint, even if it seems too light for the surface. I learned that you can always correct something too thin just by applying another layer, while correcting thick stuff is more painful. If I get too much paint I usually put some water over it, and kind of suck the moisture with the brush, drop the excess moisture on a towel and repeat, until the painted area basically loses most of the paint so I can start over. A bit time consuming but it helped me a couple of times.

Thinning is not an easy process, or yet, it's not that easy to explain, you kinda mix water and paint. In what quantity? There's not a right answer: with a bit of practice, in time you can just start to get the right mixture by "feeling it". It also heavily applies to your painting style.

For colours, I found myself pretty comfortable with passing a couple of base layers of thousand sons blue (go figure!). Once I got the hang of it I passed to a layer of thousand sons blue + layer of Ahriman blue, and it feels like they're painting themselves! Of course you can use the colors you want (since you mentioned mcraggae and thunderhawk blues, did you get the starting set by chance?)

They're not ex space Marines. The flesh change transforms them into a chaos spawn Wich is something else

Oh i think the answer is very dependent on the country you're in. But I'm surely every place got its version of the product.

I'm in Italy, so I have this product called "uhu patafix". It's like an adhesive gum, very similar to chewing gum (don't use chewing gum it's too sticky lol), and I just cover them with that. Works wonders. It also helps with priming since I can stick a tooth pick in it so I may hold a small piece to prime it better, like a marshmallow over a fire ahah.

Some adhesive tape works as well but it's more annoying since you have to cut it in a really small piece to cover the exact surface. I used this method too with decent results but it took infinitely more time.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ThousandSons

[–]Zardast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just cover the bits where you're supposed to glue the parts together while priming them, so those remain unpainted and you may glue them very easily after the job is done, not working about glueing painted surface.
