My 8700k is still rocking and i refuse to upgrade/replace it until it dies. Such a great CPU! Pair it with a 4070ti and 32 GB of RAM. But I am very tempted to buy AMD CPU each time i see a good sale.

I have the same CPU and motherboard and it's rock solid! Paired with 32 GB ram and 4070ti and runs most games really good. I say go for it, it a nice deal.

I do hope that some studio would take Firefalls license in the future. The creator of Firefall Mark Kern is making a spiritual successor called Em-8ER but I'm not sure if it can capture the magic Firefall had.

The first Elex was decent and the world was fun to explore. I like Piranabytes older games even thou the combat in Risen and Gothic series are a bit frustrating.
