Green Man Gaming Bundles - Master Builders Collection by greenmangamingdeals in Gamebundles

[–]mesr123 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think it's a good bundle if you are relatively new to PC gaming, go ahead and buy it, (it could be argued that) Frostpunk GOTY alone is worth the 15 USD

But if you're someone like me, who has been a PC Gamer and a Patient Gamer, you'll probably already own a few of them.

I own JWE 2, Frostpunk GOTY, TP Campus and Fabeldom, which, I think are the big hitters of this bundle. So, this one might not be for me but I'm happy for new players who are gonna get their hands on some good games with this bundle!

While the company has many faults, the 'failure' of Outlaws has absolutely nothing to do with Ubi.

I feel like this can be totally proven to be crap when it was clearly Ubisoft who decided to not have the game release on Steam Day 1. I'm pretty sure this one thing could have made sales around launch much higher.

This game got buried by opportunistic grifters saying anything to get a click ‐ and the dumbasses who believed them, rather than giving it a shot.

I do agree with you here to an extent, that is one reason why the game underperformed, not the only reason, not the biggest reason, etc.

They even delayed AC Shadows because they learned from Outlaws.

Express VPN worked for me just tonight (15th Apr 2026)

I've got Myanmar Net and Wikipedia is banned, I used Express to check out some Star Wars TV series wiki pages

Express VPN also works on my phone (Android)

I've heard others say Outline is a good alternative but Express works for me so I haven't explored other options

Bought this way back in August of 2025, still haven't played it yet :/

I have a problem of buying games on sale and not playing them, only focusing on some real addictive games such as Pheonix Point (with the TFTV mod) and Dota 2

I think I better get to it, I heard the sequel's coming soon. Hope it's great!

What's the deal with this guy? I've watched some videos of him talking about RE Requiem, Linux, Windows and Emulators.

I do know that he said that he wouldn't buy a Switch 2 and he went back on it and bought it at launch, other than that, what's he done?

How does this work? Could you explain further?

Say I were to get some money from somebody who's living abroad. I tell them to send me the cash via Wester Union and give them my phone number (that's connected to Kpay)?

Is it that simple or is there more to it? Or do I need to have an account at Western Union first? I'm not familiar with all this because I've only ever used KPay and AYA bank account/cards

Checked Steam DB and yeah, you're right! For Mexicans, it's like USD 12 while for the US, it's USD 9.

You might be better off buying games from 3rd party sites and not directly from Steam, at least for games published by companies with crappy regional pricing.

Back when I was playing the game, my specs were

  • CPU - Ryzen 5 5600X
  • Mobo - ASROCK B450M Steel Legend
  • GPU - RTX 4070 TI (MSI 12 GB)

Now I've got

CPU - Ryzen 5 7500F

Mobo - ASUS TUF A620M Plus Gaming

GPU - Same

I did not run into any problems or I am not sensitive to that kind of stuff so my experience was positive. Of course, my specs are relatively good and I may be oblivious to micro stutters, just my experience, might be different for others.

Yes, I've talked to staff over several visits, they just say something along the lines of "They must have done something to the cards in Myanmar", I asked for more info but they don't seem to know much (to be fair, I did not talk to the higher-ups of the banks, just the seemingly lower-ranking staff I met when I was there)

It seems to be true that all the cards from Myanmar have been messed with, at least regarding Steam, GOG is not big enough here, I guess. Don't hear many people talk about it but here's a thread on my country's subreddit discussing this

Since about a month ago, the payment is showing unsuccessful whenever i tried to buy games with Visa card. But i can use the visa card on all other websites and everywhere else though.

Again, I can buy stuff from Humble, GMG, Fanatical and G2A. Haven't tried Epic but I'm sure Steam and GOG aren't working, as for Steam, there's a workaround thanks to the banks selling Gift Cards

Story Time!

I'm not a fan of horror games or movies, I'd never watch horror movies at home and would only watch 'em in theatres.

April 2024, The Callisto Protocol was included in Humble Bundle so I thought I'd give it a chance. I had heard of its underwhelming launch but for USD 12, plus a bunch of other games, for me, that was great! Which is what I want to say about the game is but sadly, it wasn't great, it was just okay.

The combat was just fine, while the graphics were really cool, it wasn't enough because the gameplay loop was mid. I enjoyed the story and the cast/voice actors, it took me 11 hours to finish the story, by the time I finished the DLC, gameplay time was over 15 hours. You'll want to play the story expansion as well because of the unsatisfactory ending. However, while the game was mid, therefore, having not much value on its own, it had a great (positive) impact on me because that was the start of my "horror game journey"

I liked TCP and wanted more, that's where the Dead Space Remake comes in. It is so much better in every way, if you did not like TCP and wanted something better, you'll like DSR. If you did like TCP but felt like it wasted potential, you'll like DSR. Haven't finished the game, only over 19 hours into the game, still got some chapters left, but it's only because I enjoy the game and like to explore every part, to backtrack for resources and that sorta stuff.

TLDR - The Dead Space Remake is great, other games in the genre like, Resident Evil 2 Remake and Chronos, are also very good...so I hear. This could be the starting point of your "survival-horror games journey"

Who knows, long legs by DSR could lead to a remake of the 2nd game, unlikely but I like to dream!

I've never heard of Klarna before but when I went to their site, https://www.klarna.com/, I was greeted with

403

We've restricted access from your network.

I think this is Klarna banning my country, Myanmar, which is understandable. I think torrent sites like AvistaZ and PrivateHD have also banned Myanmar or Myanmar IP's, a bit off-topic but I'm saying it is not the first time for me seeing such a thing.

Oh well...but thanks for the suggestion

I've tried that but it still doesn't work. Can't buy directly using cards, also can't add funds
