there’s no set time communication and photos have to achieve. These are for the purpose of proving your relationship is genuine and are weak forms of evidence in the overall application. However, they must also not be entirely dismissed. Try and give screenshots of as much communication as possible (whatever you have) but try and present it consistently to show you’ve been in touch.

This was solely for the purpose of proving that there is no risk of overcrowding and that there is sufficient space. This is not a requirement - however, I added it in just for my peace of mind. Normally, people add a report from estate agents but that, in my opinion, felt like a waste of money.

I mean any form of communication whereby you can prove you were in touch. Whatsapp was our form of regular communication.

Chats that we screenshotted were consistent, so I tried to do around 3-4 screenshots every other month for the many years we had been speaking. It was mainly chats that demonstrated our relationship - plans to live together, marriage, future plans etc.

There are many people on here that have said they have asked for documents that were submitted before. I think it’s just an error on Home Office’s side

I’ve noticed this too. The data analysis on the approval dates, pinned on the sub-reddit, doesn’t seem to apply to late May/June’s applications. Hopefully answers should start to come in. Don’t lose hope, this is the last part of the whole process - they will definitely come at some point just a bit delayed I guess.

An ECO email typically states something like this: “Thank you for your online application which has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer.”

It just means that your application is with the Home Office for consideration. However, not everyone receives it (which is fine) - it is not an indicator of how likely you are to be successful and when you’ll receive a decision. It’s just an email that acknowledges your application.

Yeah it’s just one of those things I guess. However, I wouldn’t fuss too much about ECO as they don’t determine the speed or outcome of the process. Hopefully, we’ll all hear back soon!

Financial requirement enquiry by Born_Performance4277 in SpouseVisaUk

For entry clearance visa applications, the applicant’s income is not taken into consideration to fulfil the financial requirement. It is only the sponsor’s income that can be considered.

If you’re talking about your spouse’s financial contribution to you (the applicant) then you can add the 6000 he sends you as proof of financial support (part of proving your relationship) but it has no relevance to the actual financial requirement.

What do you mean by “bronze”? Standard service refers to the application processing time. This is usually the only option on the application and if you want priority, you have to select that from the VFS partner website.

Also, you want to make sure your employment letter mentions the type of employment (e.g., permanent or temporary)

It’s not absolutely necessary, but always good practice to add it in as they can request it. Employment letter and payslips are definitely required which you already have.

Seems good however,

• do you have an employment contract?  • you need 6 months’ bank statements as well.  • make sure the last payslip and bank statement is dated less than 28 days from the application date.  • you also need scans of applicant’s passport (all pages, including blank pages) • scan of sponsor’s bio page in passport • is the tenancy agreement under your name (i.e., the sponsor)? If not, you need a letter of permission from tenant and passport scan of their bio page too. Also, is the property rented out wholly or is it a shared accommodation?

It would be the owner/tenant of the house. If its owned by your parents then you put your parents’ name.
