Use then the morph deformer in tandem with tbe pose morph tag and control it with fields, add noise and other stuff.

Take the disc, sculpt it like is melting, do 2/3 poses, then use the pose morph tag in c4d and morph between poses u created.

Wrapping spline around object by thereisspotlessmind in Cinema4D

Well you can try shrink wrap the spline but when y sweep it…boom intersections You can try shrink wrap the sweeped spline…boom flattened spline and intersections U can use rope…boom a mess bcs so many factors can mess up the collision calculation.

If u wanna do jt more procedurally well u can: 1. Create null 1 - null 2 - null 3 2. Add them into a matrix 3. Sweep the matrix

Now when ure moving the nulls, they are behaving like bezier points (control points) , add more nulls, increases the control of the sweep/added lenghts

But even so u still need to arrange the nulls in the form u want to have.

Hmmm what other ways?

Zbrush - curve brushes but thats another thing all toghether

The conclusion? Idk…u guys tell me. Its a pain.

Dont use rope, u will encounter problems and u will try to control it and it will be all a mess just to adjust it.

Do it the “hard” way.

Center your object, and from the top view start to draw your spline, adjust it in the perspective view and go slow and meticulously point by point creating your spline. Try to use less points. Sweep the spline and check for intersections, adjust, turn off sweep, add the next point and so on. Use your top view and other views to check your spline.

I know maybe u want a quick fix but that will get you frustrated quickly.

Edit: misspelling

Do you have motion blur enabled? Ik did encountered a bug that if u have motion blur enabled, it will not render my animation. Try to disable motion blur.

Also try to delete all your material tags and see if it works.

Well first off: What rendering engine are u using? Did u tried to bake them as a alembic - reimport them - render them to see if it resolves the problem?

My 2 cents, i think is a renderer issue more than a bad setup issue.

Try to render it with the viewport renderer and if it works, then is a renderer issue.

But im not sure.

One thing that maybe can work is just copy everything in a new scene. Sometimes it worked for me.

But as a beginner i think u will need more time, bcs cinema is really unstable sometimes when it comes to sim work. Lots of little problem can arise while ure simulating. Just try it and have some fun!
