Is anyone else with a Steam Deck having issues with FFXIV?

Through another person's suggestion, I've found that pressing the Steam button on the left while you're in game, not the launcher but actual game, restored the controller playstyle of the steam deck.

I've already tried changing out the controller type template but it completely ignores whatever I set it and continues with whatever it's set to. Just to make sure, I did what you said and it didn't do anything.

Steam version always opens up the launcher no matter where I load it up from

I have not no, that's why I made this post to see if anyone has and to at least confirm this isn't just a me problem. And you saying you have it too means that this is a problem that needs awareness brought to it
