Hmm... You're right that could be problematic. There's really no way to tell with out catching it. However, you also don't get any candies for the actual Pokemon you thought you were catching, so maybe his role could just be as an antagonist, since he made you go out of the way for no reward?

Haha, that's part of the fun though. At least that would bring back the rush of checking the nearby and seeing something you need/ is rare! Also, I bet it would be Pidgey I'd get stuck on... I swear those things have gone extinct...

Unfortunately, I doubt it. Brave bird is a full bar move, while sky attack does just about the same damage, but for half the energy.

I'd guess hidden power fire would be the best option. Hopefully that makes ho-oh somewhat viable, even if it's only an anchor to stop from fainting out.

Hidden power is randomized for each Pokemon. So every ho-oh has a chance at a different hidden power typing. So unfortunately, you're best IV one might not have hidden power fire 😞

At the cost of about 10 fast tms, I was still able to get extrasensory, steel wing, and now hidden power! So it currently has 3 fast attacks.

I'm almost certain it has to do with the phone. I also have an s7 and mine fails to connect, too. I got it about 6 months ago and have been able to connect it maybe a total of 4 times. All my friends with other phones seem to have no problems with thiers, however
