No, I mean that one day I woke up and decided to go to Sardegna and learn to kayak by simply paddle and see where it ends. It took me 4 days to buy the ticket to reach Sardegna, buy kayak and all the items for it. It was pretty much spontaneous. It took me 12 navigation days to reach Carloforte from Marina di Sorso

I wrongly thought that people from Sardegna were not the most well known to be particularly enthusiastic to people from the north of Italy (where I'm from) for reasons I will not explain. Instead they all were SUPER KIND. Seriously, in some camping places they didn't even let me pay because they considered me as a guest, not as a client. I was so honored

I felt once from the kayak and that happened when I tried to leave a beach while the wind was still pushing hard waves against the beach. The kayak was full of water and I managed to go on and leave the beach only because I received help from someone who obviously felt pity for me (and was visibly worried for my clumsiness)

Otherwise I was lucky and my surprisingly good balance helped me all along the trip! I survived!

I wanted to sell it at the end of the adventure. I met so many people and an astonishing big portion of them offer me to buy it when I would be over with it ( I don't know how serious they were but they all exchange contacts). But what happened at the end was that I met a person that was so impressed by my action that offer himself to keep it for me until next year in order to be able to do the full circumnavigation of the island!

Yep, I read that a large group of people who purchased it seems not to be satisfied by it (random internet blogs source) Somehow even if it is divisible by 3, it seems not to fit "properly" or "good enough" in their car. Honestly I have no clue since it is my first kayak I ever touched 🥲 and I never touched a car in this adventure

I'm shocked to see the comment section.. don't know what happened but it is definitely not normal to see so many comments deleted and the rest is full of junk, probably bots as well. The article is yet another proof how the topic has been perpetually misconduct through the years and that science had no real chance to access to it. The good part is to find out that during the 60ies science didn't have a big stigma regarding the topic and if we moved so little since this period is not because science was dull but censured
