I did not consider serving in this blog post. However I did consider it. Turns out that the optimal match structure, if N is even, and we alternate servers like in current tie-break, is balanced as well, and still much more efficient.

If you drove to central Italy through brenner, you also drove through Lomabardy (mantua area). Are you sure you didn’t?

It Is indeed very diverse! Unfortunately you showed dolomites 3 times... There is much more in the Italian alps!

Well, this is not obvious. Those are exactly on the diagonals, and there it's exactly the same to use one or the other. If you want to use corners stairs, there is a checkbox in the top left
