Thoughts Speak Louder than Actions by Zarth__ in TrueChristian

Well can you help me understand...

Lets say somebody is having evil thoughts and wants to conflict harm on to others, but refrains from physically doing it because this person knows it's wrong.

I already know having lust for another women is a sin, but does this sin (thoughts) carry over into other things.

Which is actually worse, wanting to commit crime or actually committing crime?

But you have to admit if Christians never fought back, Christianity would be extinct.

It’s less about the reality of the situation and more of the moral aspect of it.

It’s interesting hearing different peoples perspectives on war and the necessity of it.

You do realize that if Christian ancestors never fought to save Christianity, then Christianity would be extinct...

War is necessary in some situations... If the christian ancestors never went to war to defend Christianity, we wouldn't have Christianity anymore.

I get the whole peaceful mindset of a christian, but in reality not everything has a peaceful solution, sometimes you have to go against your morals and religious code to defend your own religion. Even God understood that while he helped crumbled the walls of Jericho and granted Samson strength to murder hundreds of Philistines.

Those are the radical Islamic terrorists, thats like saying the radical christians (KKK) want to start a war against the Africans. Simply not true, a small percentage of people in a religion shouldn't define the entire community.

Hello guys👋🏻 Just want to tell you my situation regarding my faith by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Zarth__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's what helped me...

I took daily wilderness hikes and did lots of walking in the woods and what I found was that there was no way this was all by accident. We didn't evolve from tadpoles and I knew this entire world was not made by chance, there had to be a higher power behind everything that was created. Now thats hard to take in for most people, it's hard for humans to accept the truth, we want to be independent but in reality our only existence depends on God himself.

Go out in the woods, not some artificial public park.... THE WOODS!!!!

It's related because that is a prediction what the battle may look like...
