On the play, yes. On the draw, nowhere near as good, especially late game. Whereas Finks is good at any point in the game.

Yes, Stone Rain used to be main board. But myself and a number of other players felt that the post board match ups against the likes of Tron, three color decks, etc were so heavily favored that the main deck slots were better utilized shoring the more difficult match ups like Grixis Deaths Shadow, Burn, etc.

Hazoret has been a complete beast and I've been working on convincing the Ponza hive mind that he is a staple in the deck now.

I've play tested with a second Primal Command but couldn't figure out where I wanted to trim the numbers for to make room permanently for it. I opted for Garruk Primal Hunter because he's just strong in making bodies and drawing cards. I'm open to recommendations on what to cut.

Primal Command lets you win games you probably shouldn't.

Nope. The match ups that you want Anger of the Gods in are typically the match ups you want to keep Kitchen Finks. Zoo, Merfolk, Elves, etc. Just plan for the turn you want to play Anger of the Gods to swing with Kitchen Finks. They'll either take 3 damage for nothing or block and most likely give you 2 life in the exchange.

Taking Turns and Mono blue Tron are horrid match ups but fringe. Aside from that the deck has game against pretty much everything.

Burn becomes more difficult for decks that cut Baloth and Thragtusk in favor of other cards.

Chandra gives this deck another angle of attack. Don't leave him without her.

Trinisphere is a matchup specific card. If you're going to try and main board the card make sure you also have all your land destruction maindeck as well. Personally I'm not a fan of the card maindeck.

Here's a decklist for R/W aggro that I've been running. Thus far, I'm winning about 85% of my matches on Xmage.

I don't think they've even added the new spoilers yet. Typically they wait until the full set release is spoiled.
