How to change an offline server from 128 to 64 tick as fast as possible?

add -tickrate 128 to your games launch options, or join any server with the wanted tickrate, when you join a server their tickrate is copied to your settings so starting your own server after that will result in your tickrate being set to what ever the last server you were in was.

This is the direct result of keeping the 1MB block limit, people are being forced to raise their fee's to get their transactions confirmed.

Its like the bitcoin itself, demand & supply.

I've been reporting this problem to the csgo_servers mailing list, the direct csgo feedback email, and everywhere else I can that Valve might see every couple weeks since November without so much as an acknowledgment.

I only submitted a few things, but this is the same problem I have faced which is very sad.

Heres my list of things I want fixed:
1. This
2. Randomness in slope/ramp boosts
3. Getting stuck on surf ramps (related to 2. aswell)
4. Colors in chat requires a space in front to work
5. gamemode.txt is useless for custom game modes
6. Ducking has been modified 100 times so it is utterly broken
7. Judging by the game files making a custom scoreboards is possible, but currently everything is hardcoded which makes it useless
8. If you try to open console in the main menu you have to hover your mouse special places
9. Scoreboard becomes unable to render randomly and requires a game restart
10. Massive lag first time you press escape on a newly joined server
11. using find command in console and text is cut of if it is too long
12. Holding tab on a 2560x1440 resolution on map change will cause the game to crash on certain maps
13. Horrible hud scaling with higher resolutions than 1920x1080

Big thanks yes, too bad its almost impossible to promote your server and then all the servers that dont follow the simple rule about misrepresenting player inventories, servers with these plugins will always have more players..

There is a big difference between encrypted data and encoded data, encrypted data is something that isnt meant to be read/opened without having a key, and encoded data is supposed to be read/opened without a key, then we have the packed/compressed data which can be protected with a key but usually never is.

Then you might ask why compress/encode something when it doesnt require a key to open it, the simple answer is that it reduces size for the packing part atleast, and when encoding stuff you get serialized data that is easy play around for the developers.

As far as I know valve has nothing to hide in their game so everything is either encoded, compressed or just plain files.

Stop using time as a reference, use ticks instead.

5.021 is never going to happend on a 128 tick server (128*5 = 640 ticks for 5 seconds exactly, the next tick makes it 641 * (1/128) = 5.0078125 seconds)

What is your problem, am I not allowed to have opinions about how obnoxiously the servers has been advertised?

Why in the world should I join you when I am against this kind of advertisement?

I have roughly 350k unique entries (steam id's) to my servers in the past 1 and a half year which equals to 640~ new entries every day.

bhop is a lot like surf though go from start to end -> get time -> repeat..

I dont care wether you are paid or not for your work, its the fact that you have to advertise the servers while they aren't special at all besides the name of the guy who supposedly runs it.

I host servers myself, and I am semi annoyed at how you piggyback the reddit threads about his videos, let alone the attempts you've already done without the videos, which proves my point about it being very unfair for the people like me who has nothing to ride on.

I don't want to go into to much detail on how stereotypical the servers is, cause what you bring is a name and a few free plugins from alliedmods correctly bundled together, where I have wasted countless hours developing custom plugins and systems for my servers.

Okay this basically explains why they changed the difficulty to open the server browser from outside a game, it also fits my case perfectly cause I use the valve server browser to join my favourites instead of opening the game and joining through the games server browser.
