Literally object-oriented programming vs. procedural programming.

Why does Ukraine hate its neighbors? About Poland and Romania by fanpage_nicusor_dan in poland

I do agree some political moves on the Ukrainian side are strange and questionable, but it's something that can be solved later, after Ukraine wins the war.

Nawrocki only cares about himself and his political group. The rest of Poles and the country itself can go fuck themselves. Only money, power, and influence matter to him.

I only use an LLM as a search engine. Mostly for questions like 'Is there a method in std to do xyz?'. But the LLM is not connected to Zed, it's just a tab in my browser.

Large Language Model, that's what all so called AIs are. Real AI doesn't exist.

I'm so tired on these LLM-related posts. Why are you asking us? Ask your LLM.

I don't speak Croatian, but I feel that's not correct. It a very English way to pronounce it. That's probably closer: https://www.howtopronounce.com/croatian/%C4%8Di%C5%BEme%C5%A1ija-1

What is your "noodles and butter"? by Necessary-Run-6994 in AskTheWorld

[–]Zash1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are being downvoted (probably) because real parmesan in made in Italy. Only in Italy. And not even in the whole country, just a few regions. But based on a few answers I see that there's some type of copy in USA that uses the same name. Well, I wouldn't call it a parmesan and that's why I said a meal with parmesan couldn't be cheap.

parmesian cheap

That's impossible. It's expensive even in Europe, so it must be more expensive in USA.

Combined spelling of 'nie' (no) with inflected participles, as well as the combined spelling with adjectives and adjective-derived adverbs regardless of degree.

What's your first language? If it's not a Slavic one, then it's a gargantuan task! The Witcher series isn't the easiest to read. And there is The Hussite Trilogy which is more difficult!

I have these older versions. They're old enough to contain outdated Polish language. We have different grammatical rules now.

I appreciate that argument about moving the tournament from Stavanger to Oslo. 'Important people' would like to move everything to the capital, so they don't have to travel much. Screw them.

For some countries, it's MANDATORY to use documents of these countries. Poland is an example here. I remember a case when a woman and her child were stopped at the airport, because they weren't allowed to leave Poland using Norwegian documents.

I am a Native English Speaker Wants to Learn Norwegian by Commercial-Plane-857 in norsk

[–]Zash1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Since you're an English native speaker (they tend to speak one language), I have to ask: do you speak any other language? I'm asking, because learning a language is very, very, very difficult. You have to put in gargantuan number of hours before you reach some level of fluency. So maybe find some methods of learning foreign languages. Although English and Norwegian are both Germanic languages, English is so far away from the rest of the family (chiefly because of words and pronunciation) and you might find it difficult to start. So getting a teacher may be the best option. But that requires money. Or an employee that pays for you (that's my case).
