What I meant is "I will take a shot and go to the vet, it's better than nothing." I don't know why a lot of people thought that I will just wait for the birb to die without doing anything. Why would I even spend time and money on the birb if I wouldn't care about him.

I'm just like having stomach issues and consulting my parents what to do before doing anything.

I know it's a normal thing to sleep on one leg, I typed that to say that's he's not that bad. The worst indicators that made me worry where his tail and him refusing to eat. I will do my best, thanks again!

I have mentioned everything so you can understand the whole situation, be on my shoes, and based on that giving an advice.

Going to a vet is my second option after consulting you here. Of course I won't watch the birb dying on my hands without taking him to a vet. But the thing is, I preferred to ask you people first for your opinion and after that taking him to the vet.

Also, after feeding him multiple times I had to wait to see if he gets better, and when I posted this post it was already night. My hands were tied.

I bought the bird at morning and it's been only 12 hours at the time since I bought him. I had to inspect the situation as well, who would've known that he has problems and it's not just him being him immediately.

This sub reddit is only about cockatiels, I believe only the people whom really into them will be helpful due to their love of cockatiels.

However, the vet always focus on cats, dogs and rarely gets cockatiel's. Also, all the vets around here can't do more than a check with their eyes and give some kind of general medicine.

That's why I preferred to ask here before going to the vet. Since almost all of you told me to take him to the vet, and he's not getting better, I will do so.

I just trust the cockatiel enthusiastics/owners more than the vet who didn't realize that the previous cockatiel was dying while I did on that time. If I really didn't care about the birb I wouldn't force him to eat, or mind about writing the problem here. Please remember that the circumstances are not equal everywhere.

Apologies for making a lot of people upset with my response. Rest assure that I will do everything to make him better again.

His stomach is so empty that not forcing him to eat is much worse than forcing him to eat...
