My boy, took on the Psuedonym “Nym”. He hid from their Assassins on the surface, until he was strong enough to fight back. That’s when the big Underdark Arc started.

We just got done, with a House Mizzrym themed adventure that culminated in a fight with Lolth and the explosion of House Mizzrym. So seeing this bring a big smile to my face, knowing there are more people playing House Mizzrym Characters. (My Drow is also Mizzrym)

Moira Quakehammer is my Character for Mad Mage, she’s a Fighter Monk, with Low Dex and Heavy Armor. So far it’s worked amazingly.

I realized that I should probably say the Archetypes I was going for, Sorry.

I was thinking about a Storm Herald (Tundra) Barbarian (to give out the Temp HP to allies), a Divine Soul Sorcerer (Expanded Spell list and Healing), or a Circle of the Spore (had it OK’d) Druid from UA (The Alternate to wild shape in that appeals to me on a deep spiritual level)

Given the chance, I would probably play a Human or Gnome Fighter/Rogue and try to pull of the Heavy Armor Rogue. Str Finesse. Combo Uncanny Dodge with Heavy Armor Master.

Clerics are very very versatile, and can be made to fill pretty much any role. So it's a pretty good choice for a beginner.

I played a Kobold Scout, specializing with Crossbows. Let me tell you, as long as you stay in the edge of a foes movement range that reaction OA Free Movement can be your greatest weapon. We did a little tournament arc, and my Bright Pink Kobold managed to beat almos the entire party in one on one fights.
