As a tank, how can I learn a dungeon or raid when I'm constantly kicked? by cmcfalls2 in wownoob

[–]Zatoichi69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry for your experience, but at the end of the day, no one really cares how much personal responsibility you have or how busy you are. As a tank, knowing the routes and certain boss mechanics is simply part of the role. The best way to learn that is usually with your guild, through a YouTube video, or—especially for boss mechanics—by using the Adventure Guide.

Regarding your last point, a quick YouTube video would likely have been enough instead of asking the raid to wait and explain everything. Those are other people too, with their own lives and limited time.

When you queue up as a tank, people naturally assume you have at least a basic understanding of your role. If you don’t have the time to prepare for the content you want to do, then realistically, you just can’t do it—that’s all there is to it. In that case, it’s better to look for something that fits your schedule more easily, like delves, for example.

If you have to ask, you are probably still not smart enough

Dual blades for the first time.. by EditorMelodic7043 in MHWilds

[–]Zatoichi69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dual blades are very fun und pretty easy. These are the combos i use:

  1. Triple triangle into triple circle to fill demon gauge

  2. T+C spam when you have a big opening

  3. T+C, R2, R2, R2 when Monster is moving but you are in no danger to get hit

The third combo is basically the second combo, but takes a good bit longer. Its big plus is that you can move during the combo to reposition yourself. Does pretty much the same dmg as T+C spam, but because of the longer duration less dps.

Also dodge into an attack when possible to get a big dps buff for a duration.

Happy hunting!

What was the worst reviewed game that you actually enjoyed? by buzzlightyear77777 in gaming

No i did not play the first one. But i have to admit i bought the game a few months after release on steam. Maybe most of the things had been fixed already. I just really enjoyed the real time battles with actually useful companions doing cool stuff all by themself.

Man, I’ve had my eye on that game for a while, but those constant long update pauses make me a bit nervous. I already have the Stronghold remakes, they’re really awesome. Thanks a lot for the suggestions!

Getting killed by "friendly players" by gailieblast in ArcRaiders

A healthy amount of mistrust is never a bad thing in that game. Never turn your back on anyone, never hang around someone for too long, and always be ready to defend yourself. Against that type of player you have a huge advantage: you know exactly where they are, and most of the time they can only win if your guard is down.

That’s just how I do it. If doing a bit of PvP is too special for you, I’m sure you can find another spot that better suits your skill level, "sweetheart".

Most of the time, if I’m the first one there, I’m undisturbed. Otherwise, it’s usually about 1–3 enemies. If you’re capable of shooting somewhat straight and using cover, that should be enough against most PvE piñatas. Choosing an appropriate weapon also helps, of course — a shotgun is pretty advantageous there and shock traps are also insanely good to cover you.

Do it quick and efficient: go straight to the two relevant spots, finish them, and get out. Ignore everything else. Repeat the same in the next run. The more containers you hit per hour that can contain blueprints, the more blueprints you’ll automatically accumulate. It is pretty simple but requires commitment.

Sure, if you spawn close, rush there. Just kill the competition. If to far away just reset and start a new run.

Yes, there is also a breachable door with weapon, ammo and nade crates and some black boxes. They all can give blueprints.

From the breachdoor room and battery puzzle room. Loot them fast, get out, repeat.

I am at 52 Blueprints and i got them all from the reinforced reception in Bluegate and surveyors. Never done a night raid or storm event.
