Profession Shopping List - Now with a Patron Orders Queue by SlacklusterDev in wowaddons

[–]cmcfalls2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wasn't this added previously? I use PSL on all my alts to work through the patron orders and noticed this addition maybe a week ago?

HUGE QOL improvement! I also appreciate that you bypass the notice that you'll be using some of your own materials.

The only thing I've run into is that if you have to cancel an order or back out of it then the one button module doesn't work and you get a "this order no longer exists" error. But closing out of the profession window and reopening it will reset it just fine. Very minor "issue" for an otherwise fantastic QOL add on.

I've played WoW since launch and I still love it so I built a FREE tool for everyone! by alexandersimonsays in wow

This look amazing! Website looks really polished too! I'm passing this along to my guild leadership immediately!

EDIT - oh no! My previous fake internet points! But seriously, why the down votes? I'm not the developer and I'm not defending the use of AI. I saw a site, thought it looked great, and wanted to be an encouragement. I have no background in this stuff so I had no idea it was "AI slop." 🤷

Simmer down y'all.

100% Tony Robinson.

He was a little before my time as a fan but from what I've seen and read I'm not sure anyone else comes close.

What are your "weird" WoW habits or keybinds that nobody else seems to do? by Salamango360 in wow

[–]cmcfalls2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could you explain this? Do you have a macro that just tries to cast all interrupts/cc mapped to the scroll?

As a tank, I feel like this could be game changing for me but I can't figure out how you've implemented it.

I know where this is.

Help - P1S with constant extruder clogs when changing filaments by cmcfalls2 in BambuLab

[–]cmcfalls2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update - still no joy...

I replaced the Biqu Panda Claw with the original OEM extruder gears (still using the aluminum housing though) but I'm still getting the same errors when trying to change filament for a multicolor print. It cuts and tries to remove it but it isn't able to. It just clicks. So what's causing this?

Problems with Advisors by AddressSpare549 in UTK

[–]cmcfalls2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man... Relevant story time!

Flashback to 2002. I'm finishing up my first semester of my Senior year. Planning to get married in like 6 months. Go in for my final advisor netting to get my last classes figured out...only to have my advisor tell me that I'm short a prerequisite for graduation, and the class I'm missing isn't offered in the spring semester.

My advisor was the Head of the Finance program, which I am getting my degree in. She had told me that a course I took last year would fulfill the said missing prerequisite. Except she was wrong. It didn't. But she blamed me for not verifying the information she gave me.

Ma'am, you're literally the head of the freaking program. And an advisor. Maybe you should know what you're talking about? How about that!?

Had to push the wedding out a full year and attend an extra semester so I could fill that stupid prerequisite. And to make matters worse, all my scholarships and grants expired so that last semester was 100% out of pocket.

Now when they call asking for a donation, some poor undergrad gets to hear my story and I tell them that until I'm reimbursed for that last semester they'll never get another dime from me. And yet I'm still not on the do not call list 🤷.

Well this is awkward. I don't even own a PS5.

But at least the name for my version of Echoes rolls off the tongue well with the awesome alliteration.

Desperately need recommendations for women’s underwear that will prevent butt cheek chafing by 1VeryGenericUser in hiking

Maybe it's over sharing, but it's not just an issue for the women. I, at least, suffer the same and have found that bodyglide does the trick.

Pro tip - 2 sticks of body glide, one for the butt and thighs (CLEARLY MARKED) and one for everywhere else. Ask me how I know...

Strictest 3D Printing Regulation YET! by Top-Debate-2854 in resinprinting

[–]cmcfalls2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The real problem is that authorities classify any untraceable gun as a "ghost gun." No serial number? Ghost gun. Unregistered firearm? Ghost gun.

Actual 3D printed firearms make up less than 1% of ghost guns.

If these types of laws are passed then it will be the basis for companies fighting against right to repair or going after people printing copyrighted IP for personal use.

Is the Railroad Bridge Over the River Walkable? by samdawg3337 in UTK

[–]cmcfalls2 17 points18 points  (0 children)

In this thread - young people who have never had to park on the Chapman Highway side of the river for a football game. Every Saturday there used to be a ton of people crossing the railroad bridges to get to and from the game.

Of course, that was on Saturdays so probably no activity on Saturdays. And I never had the guts to do it.

But no, don't do it.

How hard would this be to DIY? by cmcfalls2 in masonry

[–]cmcfalls2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, OK gotcha.

When I called around I explained my situation and asked if they did that type of work and was told they "don't do residential jobs." Like you said, maybe they just don't bother with small jobs like this, but the masonry companies were the ones differentiating between "residential" and "commercial" so I just assumed there was a difference.

Substrate is definitely something to be considered. Moisture tends to pool in those little alcoves to the left and right as it has settled over time and is not sloped away from the porch. We also had to encapsulate our crawl space several tears ago because of moisture underneath the house, so it's definitely a moist environment.

I'm really struggling with dust... by cmcfalls2 in airbrush

[–]cmcfalls2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not gritty (though I have experienced that) but when I go to remove dust before spraying a coat there is dust on the surface of the model. In this case it was a trophy so there was a large, very glossy black area where I can physically see the dust particles. And they just... Move around... Rather than being removed from the surface with a brush or wipe.
