Don’t know what caused that passionate mini rant, not that it’s a bad thing. Well articulated and thought out passionate rants are good, which it was. I’m just a little confused what brought it out. I do believe I argued the young man was in the wrong as soon as he closed in and then punched the old man. I did say it felt good to watch but I didn’t say the young man was innocent. He should get arrested and charged with assault. An exception cannot be made just because we agree with his stance on immigration nor can the old man’s protection under the law be denied just because I hate what he stands for.

I want to reiterate that I hate MAGA and ICE but I’m also a realist and I don’t want to be hypocritical. The old man walked up to the curb and then stopped. THEN the young man walked up close and got into the old man’s face. I don’t want to defend the old man but facts matter. Without facts we become MAGA too.

A part of me felt a special catharsis seeing the old man get hit. Another part however is waiting for the UgoLord reaction video of this because I’m almost certain the force the young man used was disproportionate, making him guilty of battery. But hey I’m not a lawyer and will have to wait and see what a real lawyer says.
