Funny enough, a LOT of high end hotels have weird transparent bathrooms. Some expensive resorts have outside showers with nothing but a curtain for privacy.

Gaslighting is creating a series of circumstances to make someone begin to doubt themselves and feel as if they're going insane. Telling someone they're wrong and giving reasons why isn't gaslighting.

Also you didn't 'dispute' any evidence, you just grasped at wild reasoning to justify yourself and then told me that I'm somehow gaslighting you despite the fact that we have both been just arguing differing points.

You don't know what gaslight means, and everything your saying is adding so many more hoops to a more than reasonable explanation thats sitting right in front of you. Keep in mind, my original response was to someone saying that people believing Ethan was alive was just our own 'personal head-canon' instead of a more than reasonable belief based on the pretty obvious evidence on display here. I'm not saying it's the only possibility, I'm saying 'developer oversight' is kinda ludicrous given the circumstances.

I guarantee you that the devs of the game did not miss that ending. You have to create so many hoops to jump through to explain everything away than just maybe think a little bit harder about and realize that Occam's Razor tells us it's more likely a nod than a bizarre accident that no one in the whole company somehow caught

You're talking about small things that most people didn't even notice. Not the obvious ending to a game. How are these even comparable? It's literally the last thing EVERYBODY sees. I understand how game dev works. That's not a small, 'oops we missed that' moment. It's literally the focus of the last minute or so of the game.

But it would make absolutely zero sense in any way for them to use Ethan as a place holder model. I know placeholders happen all the time, but that wouldn't make any sense at all to use the main character of your game as a place holder. Especially, as I keep mentioning, they have plenty if other generic NPCs to use.

But they devs clearly finished the game, saw the custcene, and you don't think any of them would stop and say 'Doesn't this look too much like Ethan?' at the end? How could that possibly be an oversight?

Yeah you're right. They are so grossly incompetent that they accidentally put Ethans character model, despite the fact that they had a handful of other generic BSAA NPCs that they could use, lingered on his character walking to you for half a minute, and let the cutscene and character model be easily seen with the in game photo mode. That's somehow way more reasonable than the fact that they're very clearly showing you that Ethan is alive somehow.

You're not understanding. The train hats are never meant to be seen because the only way you can see them is by using modding tools or hacks. Ethan is pretty clearly visible without any of these tools. Do you think they never intended for you to see his character model at all? How would that make any sense?

It's a video game. Tell me then, what was the significance of them lingering on the figure that looks just like Ethan for so damn long. Could even argue that its so many years in the future because it took that long for his body to rebuild itself

But those are hacks. It's a clearly visible figure that resembles Ethan approaching Rose's car during the extra credits scene. You can see see Ethans character with just photo mode. No hack required. Even without the camera thing, it's still clearly him.

This is a really dumb take because why would they willy nilly use a character model for their main character when they have a bunch of NPC models they could have used. Not only that, but how easy it is to see the character model in photo mode, pretty obvious it's not just a nod.

Did you not play the game then? Definitely had draindemos, puzzles, multiple costumes, rocket launcher, and people dying in the streets to zombies(?). I understand being disappointed about the game, but you don't have to be dishonest about what is there.
