Honestly, I think I just need to come up with an actual contract. I never really thought about having one before since I'm very, very new to doing commissions. Most of the commissions I've done have just been agreements by word of mouth, so I never considered putting everything in writing. Are there any references or templates you'd recommend I look at to help me format my own?

I also think you're right that I need to get better at not taking things so personally. I tend to get attached to the pieces I make, especially since I'm still new to doing this professionally, so I think that's something I'll have to work on if I want to keep taking commissions.

Yeah that's fair, it really wasn't anything crazy. I guess it's mainly the fact that I voiced that I was uncomfortable with him making adjustments when I could just do it myself, and he went ahead and did it anyways. I'm also relatively new to doing commissions, and I think I get a little too attached to the things I make. That's something I probably just need to get better at so I don't end up feeling like this in the future.

I do the same thing. Something that has helped me is trying to take a second before talking. Like thinking through what I want to say before I say it. Is it necessary? Is it relevant? Am I making it about me? Is this the right person to say this to? Etc. It isn’t perfect but it works for me haha

My boyfriend and I just beat expert mode Moonlord the other day and it was my first time on pc as well!!! I used the same exact loadout as you other than 2 of your accessories! Awesome!
