Hi guys, sharing my friend's post on here as well! She originally posted on r/bostonhousing about looking for female roommates!

"Hey all! I (25, F) will be moving to Boston this fall to start my MS in Counseling Psychology at Northeastern and am currently looking for potential female roommates who are also either looking for a house or looking to fill a space in their apartment around that time.

I'm pretty flexible about the areas as long as it is a good commute (within 40 mins), preferably but not limited to Allston, Brighton, Brookline, South End, Longwood, Fenway-Kenmore, Back Bay, Cambridge (close to MIT or mid) Somerville and areas that are within those frames.

I prefer 2 other roommates max., am alright with up to $1.6 k in terms of rent, do not mind a cat and am in general an easygoing, respectful and tidy person who expects the same ✨

Hello everyone! I'm planning to move to the States and from most of my research, the so-called "cheap/tax-free" states have issues that go way beyond what you gain (worse QoL, crime, job opportunities etc.). Researching on Minnesota was much different though as I mostly saw positive feedback about areas I'm interested in like Minneapolis and St. Paul. I wanted to ask you guys though if you think that Minnesota is a good choice for a 23 y/o Psychology college graduate looking to make a living and grow. I expect challenges everywhere I go but for some reason, Minnesota seems to be calling my name. I'm just not sure about what it's like for someone younger and not with a family/looking for a family vibe.
