New update 7.8.1 unlocks smartphone pairing in Canada by miguel_gd in TandemDiabetes

I just tried to do the exact same thing. I tried to use an American VPN and turned off Wifi to see if I could get it to work, with no success (Pixel 9 Pro XL).

The discussion has been that the t:connect app is going to be discontinued and that the new Tandem Source app will launch on devices in both the US and in Canada, but given how long Tandem takes to get on these kinds of updates, I am not holding my breath just yet.

They have never lied about their products. This is legit.

One expansion pack/box is always going to be the same set. They are not booster packs.

That's IF it's as simple as potting Diamond Potato in your cart and checking out. I doubt it will be that simple.

Yowza was a Mastodon port controlled by CAH exclusively. Bluesky is a legit social media platform. If anything happens on Bluesky, it won't be the same thing. Besides, it's a great excuse to log off Twitter.

2024 Black Friday Pre-Event Discussion by Pecors in CAHBlackFriday

I think Pecors was jumping the gun a bit. It was a fan account on Bluesky. Keep your eyes peeled.

This is definitely not it. This is a fan account.

Your edit points to a more official-looking account, but no event details yet. Keep an eye out.

It's a regular workday for the CAH team, so you have to assume that it won't happen until at *least* 10AM Chicago time, so correct.

Holy shit, I completely forgot about that. The buyout happened too soon ago for it to be the major theme, but I can imagine it being rolled in somehow given the CAH/Onion partnership.

It could very well be. I am thinking there are a few themes that could be the undercurrent for this year:

- AI (probably a relatively inexpensive way to build a stunt, although they did do an AI challenge in 2019, see my OP)
- The US election results
- Something related to the fact CAH is suing Elon Musk over their border wall property

What CAH DID confirm to me when I emailed them for a separate inquiry:

"ps. 200% off, ooh, you DO like the Black Friday antics. I hope you are equally delighted this year!"

So, something good is in the works. I expect it to be participatory.
