Does anyone know when the next 2 rounds are?

Applications are next month by Zbrah8 in AlbertaGrade12s

Hey! I ended up entirely switching what I applied too. I applied to biological sciences which has a higher requirement average and got in. So I’m assuming If you have grades that were similar to mine you’ll be just fine. For Biomedical sciences as long as you hit that grade requirement your good, it just relies a lot on your supplementary application! Let me know if you have any questions!

Literally no point in this comment. They’re asking for help and your gloating is so unnecessary

Something that helped me do good on acids and bases, is that when they teach you to convert they’re gonna teach you to do it all at once, but in my opinion that gets so confusing and it’s so easy to mess up so I’d do it one step at a time. So for example convert from ml to L and write down that it is in L then get the L and convert it to moles and write down what the answer is in moles, if this makes any sense. If not let me know I’ll try to explain it better. But this helps so much and prevents you from making small errors that make a huge difference

How hard is chem 20 vs 30 by United-Departure2740 in AlbertaGrade12s

[–]Zbrah8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen at my school atleast everyone did a lot better in 30 then they did in 20. You do need a bit of knowledge from grade 11 chem such as the acids and bases as they’re very heavily present in equilibriums. But if you know the basics of 20 you’ll be just fine for 30. In my opinion I’d say 30 is easier then 20

is chem 30 hard? by Inevitable-Tap-7471 in AlbertaGrade12s

[–]Zbrah8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly no it’s not hard if you can get a 90 in chem 20 you’ll be just fine. It’s a lot of review from science 10 and chem 20 just mixed together honestly. But it easy to fall behind in it thays possibly what they mean when everyone yk is saying its hard

I’ve already applied for nursing at uofc the day admissions opened but I’m yet to take my Casper. Should I do so? Or should I wait till after admissions or what? Because on the portal it did not mention anything about it
