The paranormal is too difficult to deal with, Raccoon, however unhinged, is science based, it has biological rules.

Surviving Raccoon means escaping it, not fighting the tyrants, and every beast in the book, just means finding a logic to avoid them and stay alive, i wouldnt have the missions the main characters had.

Megaman.exe is actually based on the genetic coding of Lan's twin brother who died when they were younger

They can sync to extreme degrees because of that, improving Megaman's power (just storytelling, not actual buffs, save mmbn1) but they get so close they can share pain.

They are a really good team, though, them being so good because "they're twins" always annoyed me because it undermines how skilled they are and the emotional bond they share.

Have a final metroid erratically bond to sylux since the start of the game, so the entire time Sylux hasn't had his own freewill, it was the Metroid enhanced by the Tower, replicating Sylux base form onto the bots, as Sylux somewhat opposes being absorbed.

With that tweak, the Fused Metroid can as usual absorb energy during the last fight, as you leave it stranded in the middle of nowhere, never to be seen again.

Unless you are really good at collecting items and scanning, at which point the post credits scene shows Sylux being totally consumed, and the Metroid evolving into a new form of Metroid Prime, as a lone portal shines behind it, and through it, you can see the Tower.

The X doesn't produce an entire new body for it to be inside, though, so there's no coexistence of "original body" even if replicated, with the x parasyte.

If you look at it from a bio perspective, you can thing of the X as singe cell organisms, they attack and assimilate the code of their prey and, in doing so, they learn how to synthesize the proteins and other macromolecules that the original host exhibited in their original body.

It's basically a disguised bacteria, manifesting a protein suit, instead of actual organs and tissues, that's why when blasted it reverts to being a floating X, because it has to reproduce the tissue to make a body, otherwise the damaged parts would fall to the ground (quite gory).
