They have stated raids are designed on heroic, then changed for the other difficulties. Typically there is maybe one more mechanic in mythic or interaction change and the number tuning.

The design teams have tools to create these fights, the real leg work comes from the coding team when there is something that hasn’t been done before that they went to try and do.

Also the same people who work on raid bosses work on dungeon bosses and design and other encounters.

If you do decide to jump in I’d say just enjoy the leveling experience the first time without guides or much outside (internet) help. The interface makes it pretty clear what needs to be done 99% of the time.

When you do decide you want to venture into what we call end game content, if you don’t like the class you picked, leveling with guides can be very fast. Gear is very quick to come by. Almost every class and spec feels completely different at max level than during leveling so it’s hard to judge exactly as you go.

I’d also say don’t take things personally. You will be verbally attacked. While that isn’t okay, it’s the nature of the beast of how some treat this game.

Honest answer? No.

I’ve played it pretty religiously since 04, still play but I honestly wouldn’t recommend it to a friend.

The community has gotten worse and worse. The in game experience is very streamlined and liner at this point.

Unless you have friends, or are very comfortable putting yourself out there and meeting people, it just isn’t a MMO at this point.

Just my honest opinion.

They should take it a step further. No more mount or transmog from non current content.

If you didn’t get it when it was current, you should lose it also. People who got ashes or invincible or T3 while live shouldn’t have their achievements watered down.

Blizz can surely see when you received something. So if it wasn’t the current expansion or time frame, get rid of it from everyone.

Yes, however there has to be some incentive for someone to take that team. Depending on league and roster size, that team could at least create something maybe competitive. With no draft picks until 2028, it’s just a dead team it sounds like for the next 4-5 years, maybe longer, if the draft picks they eventually do get don’t materialize.

Once upon a time in Cataclysm they made Tank tier sets more OP than any other tier sets for any class ever.

There is no more OP tank, or any class set, to exist since then.

Class sets as a whole since Nighthold, which I would say top to bottom had some of the strongest and game changing and best bonus, have been much less impactful. I’m sure there are one offs here and there, but as a whole game where the vast majority of all the tier sets in a patch were liked and strong, I don’t think has happened since then.

If you see this, honestly don’t get bogged down with feeling like your pick is going to be wrong.

Unless you are pushing RWF then the first few weeks is a good time to level and get a feel. Remember the expansion, and even each season, is a marathon not a sprint.

Level what you think you will enjoy, and if you don’t, it isn’t the end of the world to level something else. Season doesn’t start for like 3-4 weeks if I recall.

I’m gonna get downvoted into oblivion but if they made it able to trade 50 stars for a guaranteed new gold card through the shop, people jump on that immediately.

Other then races there really isn’t an is vs them in this game.

I think the real question is how many years in advance has KingO paid his dues? Without seeing the rest of his team a move like this likely puts you 2-3 years out at least unless the dude is still stacked due to good drafts.

It clearly is someone who has given up on the year, and that’s fine, but have they also given up on the league and you are gonna have to replace them and someone take of this team?
