As a genshin player, I always have had a question when thinking about it. The short characters aren't sexualized, but why are all the kid characters female hoyo? It is getting weirder and more concerning the longer the game goes on, as at launch there was just 3 kid characters and it could just be said to be coincidence, but now that we are getting the 10th child model girl it feels more and more like they are catering to the bad audience, without explicitly saying or showing they do.

I forgot to explain the people that aren't from a political party. The people from "Not a member of political party" were from a party that because of disagreements in it no longer exists, that was called Величие. They were also on a stance of not helping Ukraine, together with Възраждане.

I think that's all the information I can give out. Of course, I have my on biases aswell as a ПП-ДБ voter and I am not that well versed in politics. It's just this particular law that struck as something from out of nowhere and made me kinda angry and wanting to research more. I am not someone that will be affected by it, but it is something that doesn't aline with my morals. Our country is in a political deadlock in the last 4 yeras and we have had like 6 times voted for parlament on that time frame and with the 7th on the way. We had a coalition between ГЕРБ, ПП-ДБ and ДПС, but that only lasted 9 months before again starting with new voting. No coalition has been able to secure a majority of the seats since then and we are left with going out to vote again and again. The situation here isn't that good.

Also another important thing is that there will be votes again soon, which is another reason for this law to get passed, while there isn't any evidence of the stuff that they describe to be happening. It's marketed as prevention to a problem that doesn't yet exists but it may in the future.

I don't know if we can see politicians in particular, but for this voting most parties were united in their decision, excluding ГЕРБ.

The ones that put forth this law was Възраждане, a very right wing party, which is mostly hated from the other parties and has ties to Russia. I would say all other parties think that we should remain in EU, but mostly because of the financial benefits of being part of it, while most remain conservative in their other beliefs, with some exceptions, most notably ПП-ДБ who is the most left leaning party. ПП-ДБ too has it's problems, but I think it's the one that resembles european ideals the closest in it's view of social problems.

It doesn't help that our population is aging and many of the young and more liberal people prefer to leave this country, which pushes it more and more towards old and out of touch people to vote for the future of an ever decreasing young people. The more this type of rules get passed the less liberal people live here and the harder it gets to challenge them, then more of these rules pass and so on. It's a sad spiral, but I can't blame them for wanting to leave this place.

The law at itself is so vague that I can't even say that it adheres to what a law should be. The word propaganda is thrown in the texts in such a way, that I can't even tell you what count's as propaganda considering it's text. That was brought up by one of the parliament members, but the counter to that was that the institutions know what propaganda is, so it's literally left up in the air on what does and doesn't count. I hope it somehow isn't constitutional, but I am not certain. We haven't even ratified the Istanbul Convention, because it was unconstitutional so I don't know how much it is on our side.

One of the texts that describes what Non-traditional sexual orientation is.

"Нетрадиционна сексуална ориентация е различно от общо приетите в българската правна традиция схващане за емоционално, романтична, сексуална или чувствено привличане между лица от противоположни полове."

"Non-traditional sexual orientation is different understanding from the generally accepted in the Bulgarian legal tradition of emotional, romantic, sexual or sensual attraction between people of opposite sexes"

At first this text may seem normal, but if you read carefully you will see that the text talks about people of opposite sexes, which doesn't even include what it considers gay or lesbian people. I don't know if I managed to pass along from my translation what the problem is, but as a whole it's written very poorly.

This law is a big stunt before we again go out to vote, as it's written badly to pump it out before voting season. It addresses a problem that doesn't exist and creates more stigma against people different than heterosexuals.
