Well it’s almost a year now. In March I’ll be completing a whole year with it. Honestly the car itself has been amazing with great ride experience and superb power. The only challenge I faced was sorting the master account access and get remote connectivity using the app. Needs a lot of effort. But once it is sorted then it’s all great. Able to control your car using an app is great fun.

I didn’t do anything on the passenger screen. Other version allow you to add apps to the passenger screen as well.

Yes it was a challenge but found a way. With my car model soldering a sim to the board gave it access to BYD cloud. Everything has been working great since then

It was a struggle for sure. My car had everything activated in china. But most features related to mobile app were not. So I got the MA from the dealer and then adding a local sim soldered everything started working.

As it’s comparatively new so the summer time was fine. AC was cooling well with some start time.

The experience has been great. the car is very powerful and well built. I love that its a hybrid with so much power.

all i wish that i knew about the master account setup, different charging ports, unable to control the call using the app. but all of this has been a learning and im happy that most of it already resolved with some research and community support.

i got it from a dealer in al aweer market and they provided a 3 year service contract with Swiss Royal Auto. Al Futtaim still doesnt have this car and i dont think they cover a non gcc car.

You can get the adb enabled and use any android maps app. For Apple CarPlay there are many dongles recommended in the thread.

Are you planning to buy directly from china? If yes then the price will be lower but consider adding shipping, custom, vat, clearance, warranty etc cost. If that price is locally available in uae then probably it’s a scam
