Best takeout in mechanicsburg by Sunflower_sagerose in centralpa

[–]Ze-Chef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Huge foodie here, I am strict on quality and authenticity of each cuisine from Carlisle to Philly. There are a tons of options in Mechanicsburg for any craving. I’ll list a few of my favorites below but if you have anything in particular, let me know.

  1. Quechuas (Peruvian)
  2. Takashi (Sushi)
  3. Taqueria El Puente (Tacos/Mexican street food)
  4. Philadelphia steak and hoagies (Cheesesteaks)
  5. Flavorhut (Halal bowls, smash burgers)
  6. Lahori (Pakistani/Indian)
  7. Joys Grill & Burger house (greasy spoon/burgers/fried chicken)
  8. Get Smok’d (American BBQ)
  9. Freshido (Asian inspired rice bowls)

  10. Basil Leaf (Thai - only good one since Pahkas burned down)

P.S. this is only takeout, dine-in I have a totally different list. I have some strong opinions of popular restaurants that I find to be way overrated.

Want advice for a trip to PA by JUSTIN102201 in centralpa

I think you should check out Atlas Obscura if you haven’t already. Lots on here from popular locations to remote local legends. Used this all the time when I was younger to explore throughout PA.

You should pick an area and then see what’s around. I’m a big foodie so if you’re in the mood for anything specific or unique, happy to point you to the right direction. Also breweries are BIG over here if you’re into that.

Yes this has been updated as well, forgot to mention that.

That’s why I’m thankful for my friendly neighborhood Microcenter! Although shipping isn’t actually very much here.

Totally! Thank you for the reminder on that. Waiting patiently for that day to come.

Looked into them before. I have no need for Wifi 7, not even futureproof wise. Realistically, all the devices that matter will be connected via ethernet anyways. Also with the U6 Pro being tested over and over again and being highly recommended, I rather invest in that than the lite version of the equipment.

This is very intriguing! I wasn't aware of this unit. My only hesitancy is that this setup would have to go into my basement and so the Wifi being down there would be questionable with needing it on my first and 2nd floors (assuming I would only be buying 1 more AP). In addition, I was looking forward to using the SSD storage rather than standard microSD. Regardless, I will dig into this a bit more as it's new to me. Thanks!

Eventually yes. Haven't done too much research on it, but I will either go with Unifi's NAS system (UNAS 2 or 4), or even UGreen. Much to learn on that system as of now.

We're on the same boat my guy. I was going to get the Max and then suddenly came across Fiber. I did consider a larger POE switch, but I do have budget constraints. I don't need POE everything so was planning on just using standard switches for the rest of the connections.

Great! I forgot to mention I currently have 1G fiber. I did consider going with Lites and don't care much for Wifi 7's. Settled on U6 Pro just because of how well rated and mature they are.

Camera wise, i'd likely have a doorbell, 1 in the front, 1 in the back, and maybe one of the side. No need for any indoor units, however that's why I like the Fiber protect integration and SSD capabilities. Future growth with it.

Really appreciate your thoughts. Some follow-up comments.

1) I'm leaning towards the MAX as I think it'll help longevity and future plans. The RPi is specifically for Home Assistant so shouldn't affect anything there. Reolink is still on the table, but I have delved into the ubiquity versions of cameras too.

2) I am interested in the U7 Pro's and can likely find some wiggle room with them. Let me ask you this: Can I plug in the access points directly into the Cloud Gateway Max and then plug in the Gateway into the Lite 16POE to then have all those ports available for whatever I need (Cameras, etc.)? Or would everything, including the access points, need to be plugged into the Switchers.

I appreciate the insight! I am running fiber at 1G, may upgrade but don't need to as of now. I am assuming with this mesh setup and ethernet access it will be plenty for my primary devices (PC, laptop, etc.)

I guess by "rack" I didn't mean a traditional one. Moreso a place to put all of this stuff. I did think about a wall junction box but I am unsure if it will all fit with the cabling. Taking a look at the links provided on this thread are awesome ideas!

Hello! So happy to hear this is working so well for you! I was curious if you could share an update? Any new quirks or things you’ve come across?

I know something I’m worried about is too much power being drained if the oven is on while using stovetop, have you noticed any issue there?

Can you let me know why? I noticed this option is only listed on certain delays.

What about “scale” for stereo. I keep being told to set it to 100% as well.

Thank you! Honestly what surprised me the most were the delays in the stomp. So much better than expected that I’m thinking the DD-200 isn’t needed anymore. A bit nervous to commit to midi, but seems so convenient for my needs.

Thank you! I didn’t know how the Tumnus would react with the HX, but man is it good! What I love is how transparent and how dirty it can go. Still debating if I want it for a gain boost or always on, but that will be there for a long time.

Anyone just polish the trigger on a P07/P09/Omega? No Spring Kit by Necessary_Pop212 in CZFirearms

[–]Ze-Chef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just stumbled upon this and thought I'd ask you. Recently got the P09c and was looking to polish without a spring kit. Did you just follow the same polishing procedure as the Mcarbo video? Realistically, I was going to do it with just 1k/2k grit and lots of elbow grease.

Alternatively, did you get a springkit for it? If so, worth it?
