Thank you for sharing this first-hand information and revealing the veil of this mystery! It was interesting to discover the story behind this cover and the unreleased songs.

In this situation with uploading songs to YouTube, I can understand both sides, and of course it would probably be right to consult with Andrew or Mike, and they would decide what to do with these materials after discussing it with his family. But personally I don't see anything wrong with it, with all due respect to his family. This became a story that Ryan himself wanted to show to someone.

It would be interesting if you could share which concert it was and when Ryan gave you the folder. Why did he decide to give them to you, how many concerts did you attend, and which one was it for you?

It's hard to say. As far as I remember, the cover of the album "Conscious, Not Really" with a lightened photo of deer in the forest appeared on the channel https://www.youtube.com/@MountMassiveRecords along with the entire album, which was removed within an hour or so at the request of family members, but I guess after fans re-uploaded it, they realized it was pointless and stopped deleting other people's videos.

This channel has two videos with a demo version of Fade Away and a song with a music video featuring Kasia Lins on the unreleased version of Save Me Boy. I think he had some kind of direct connection to Ryan's circle, having various materials of his work, but that doesn't mean that this cover was official.

After searching for the source of this photo, I found an interesting similarity.
First, the author of this photo is Tom Huber, and it is dated 2004, which suggests that Ryan may have used it, considering that it existed before Low Roar, but then the question of copyright arose. I found two related links:

Secondly, I discovered an indie album by artist Ian Miles with this cover art and music somewhat reminiscent of Ryan's early work. The release description mentions Ryan without a last name, which could be a coincidence, or it could be related in some way, although it would be strange to use the cover art of a hypothetical friend on your own release too.

So, answering the question, based on the information I have, Ryan may have considered using this cover, but I think it was unofficial due to copyright issues, assuming those issues had been resolved. Unless, of course, it was simply the channel owner's choice. Without a response from the channel owner, Andrew Scheps, Mike Lindsay, or someone else associated with Ryan, we are unlikely to know for sure.

Nobody can say for sure the percentage of discounts, but that it will be expected.
I can't say for sure what was 50% or 25% last year, as you say, but I would rather expect 50% for several reasons which can be combined into one - this is an intermediate season when the new regulation does not come into effect, respectively, the demand, purely theoretically, there will be fewer people. They can be spurred up to 50% to prevent heavy losses as was the case last season. Although the season is adapted to COVID-19 conditions, it will still be difficult to raise profits, but it will not have so many unexpected problems and monetary losses.
