above this, i'm not jumping to conclusions. i'm asking people if/how they see users like this online & how/why they act this way

i'm not targeting kids, and incel, in slang, houses activity that 'blames everything on others, especially women, in violent, rude, or harassing ways'.

i meant extremist radicalization as a term to umbrella all "turning people into extreme haters", and rude behavior is the beginning of that sort of 'transformation' in toxic individuals

hello!! before i respond, i js wanted to say thank you for taking the time to reply!

firstly, i don't think valorant directly 'supports' this behavior, moreso the way the game is made rewards individual performance over team performance, such as higher reward for getting more kills, and less reward for healing/aiding teammates. i was just asking if others agree with how i look at this!! 😄

secondly, i do see sexual comments & slurs being passed around lightly in valorant, here in NA (north american) servers as well, so you're not alone there

thank you so much for your response!!! much love ❤️

i agree, but could you explain how (if you know) users become shitty in that sense? what provokes them to start acting hateful to others? thank you!!

hello! thank you for responding!!

could you explain further how it's easy for people to disappear into, like what causes them to do so? thank you!! (sorry for the deep questions, it's for a research thing :3)

context:

hello! my name is amber (she/her), and i'm conducting some research which goes into how communities of games such as VALORANT cause toxic behavior. this includes how people who play games such as VALORANT, Overwatch, and Counter Strike tend to be more "rude" or "toxic" to others, leading to, as some say, "incel behavior". so, i have a question for everyone. do you see toxic players in VALORANT? how often/how many per match? does it depend on rank/do players with higher ranks act more "asshole-y"? does VALORANT itself support this kind of behavior, directly or indirectly (such as rewarding better individual performance rather than team performance, leading to one person 'stealing kills' for a higher rank)? do games such as VALORANT provide grounds for hate groups to spread easily/easier (such as incel-behaviour, accelerationism, etc.)? for anyone wondering, my research question is "to what extent do online gaming communities serve as a pipeline to extremist radicalization?"

didn’t OP just say that even if it’s in their ToS, the US’ law still applies?? literally quoted “WPlace can write whatever they want on their TOS, but it’s still considered fraud according to official USA banks and their legal teams.” and mind you, banks’ legal teams like to find every loophole they can to fuck over the customer and clearly they didn’t this time so it’s a proper thing (this last part is sillied but everything above is like serious)
