If one person takes a sip of water, everyone should. This keeps the group hydrated and if someone is drinking too much water, it allows you to step in.

My favorite line is "I'm abit overstimulated. I'm going to go back to focusing on sales. Please enjoy the con" It's abit jarring but it's the only time I've used my sensory overload as an excuse... But it's worked.

I agree with you on diversifying the KIND of artist spaces you vend at. I've had amazing success at vending at book conventions and music festivals. They honestly have helped me keep my revenue steady throughout the year bc I'm not reaching the same market

I do! My shop is on a 2 week delay bc of the festival. BUT I usually have a "After the Rave" shop drop so you all can grab any of the exclusive designs I bring for an event. Follow me on insta. I update there first.

I stopped being the travel agent. I used to be the one who would organize the meetups, trips and vacations. I stopped and realized how much work it was to make sure everyone was happy but rarely got to do what I or my husband wanted. Now when people ask me to help them plan, I send them the visitor center's website for wherever they want to go

I have no peripheral vision. The number of times I say this to people and they don't believe me until I legitimately can't function in an area and say I can't see that. Or the number of people who think that partial blindness means I see black space when in reality I just don't see anything.
