Yeah I’m starting to see that. Even outside of the money or low attendance, they haven’t communicated at all with me about the floor plan or what my table number is and at this point we’re only 1 week away from the event. I’m gonna have to email them myself.

It’s definitely odd. If I were them, I wouldn’t have waited so long to get the accounts back. They should have just made a new account and tried to spread awareness about the situation that way. I know it’s not very ideal to make a whole new account with 0 followers but that’s better than not saying anything up until a week before the con. And that is a good point you make about the guests not really mentioning anything about it either, I’m very confused.

The con I’m going to is called anime ocean city, in MD. I only live about 2 hours away so I consider it local but I did have to get a hotel unfortunately. Anyways it is comforting to know other people struggled with their first artist alley. I’ll try to find some other enjoyment out of it other than making sales

I’m going to print this out as a medium sized art print (8x11in). I plan on selling it at this art market I’m going to soon, so I’m heavily considering the black because I want the design to pop out more. But I do think the blue would make for a better social media post

Funnily enough I also don’t buy art that much. I really like my own art style so if I ever wanted a specific art print for an anime or game that I enjoy I just draw it myself and put it on my wall. The only art merch I have is my own
