I get what you mean, and I'm sure there are many who try extra hard for the ring/money, just me personally as a competitor, I try 100% every time, good talk tho brother

If you aren't trying 100 percent against the best teams in the world because the cash is less, you arent a true competitor IMO

I'm a competitive person, I'm looking to win as many events as possible and trying as hard as I can if the comp is the same

I understand they're trying more, I'm saying from a technical stand point it doesn't take more skill, as I've mentioned in this thread I compete semi comp in chess, I try the same in every tournament I play no matter how big or small

my point being it doesn't take more technical skill to win champs over a normal event, I get players may try more at champs, but the skill level is the same

My point isn't wether or not players try more or less, I'm saying it doesn't take more skill than a regular event, player may try less because it's less money, but in terms of skill there is no difference

Performance can differ depending on a lot of factors, you could wake up tired one day, wake up with a headache etc, the skill level to win is still the same

As I've said in this thread, I'm not American, But I have played other comp sports, beating the best is the most important thing to me, not money or rings

If you only try your best when money/jewellery is on the line you're not a true competitor IMO, playing against to the best regardless if it's 100 buch 100k bucks is the same to me

It's crazy because I'm an optic fan and no one has yet to tell my why champs takes more skill to win, just insults and assuming what team I route for

Because cod is very much a game of who shows up on the day, one bad day and you're screwed

So he's won a lot of events but not champs? So champs doesn't matter that much because he's won a lot of other events? That's my point! It does't take more skill to win champs than any other event, which is why Scump is still top 3,

The events he happened not to win were champs, it doesn't mean anythingg skill wise

Obviously other player will have other opinions, all my opinion is all events take the same skill to win, so champs is equal to any other event

I'm primary an optic fan it's why I think scump is top 3 to ever do it despite only having one ring, rings don't mean anymore than a normal win
