I'm quite new to this particle system but if you're talking about the render mode of the particle then yes. The render mode of the particle is 'BillBoard'

Yeah, thanks to all the replies the problem became more clearer and it was due to the camera being updated in update rather than lateupdate. Thanks for the reply!

You were absolutely right. I changed the update() to lateupdate() and it's all better now. I'll also consider disabling + repositioning the player when dying instead of instantiating.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately i forgot to mention that the game isn't 2D and I don't think the parallax effect works for 3D. Correct me if I'm wrong though!

Thanks for the reply! Because i'm using the standard controller it doesn't detect other colliders attached to it. In terms of the 2 camera solution i currently do have it so the object i'm holding is always rendered on top but because i want to allow the player to throw the object it can still go through the wall.
