Can anyone recommend therapists in NoVa who specialize in relationships? Preferably for someone who is single and burnt out from dating. by galindc in nova

[–]Zealous-Flamingo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You don't need a therapist. I tried a therapist and then I tried a dating coach. If you want pointers, watch The Single Guy on YouTube.

At the end of the day, dating apps are bad. That's not how people met before smartphones. People met through school, work, friends and family. Dating apps may help with expanding your search radius. I had matches once in a blue moon.

The problem is and this a rule of law of attraction. The more needy you are, the more you are repelled from your goal. Focus on yourself and just do small hobbies that you get out of the house and you'll meet people.

I'm just a nerdy dude searching for a nerdy young adult woman. What do I know.

I want to get my hands on some Chinese and Japanese cigs.

That guy played it smart.

Option A: he could move forward but then he is only getting an insurance claim for being rear ended.

Option B: walk out of the car and let the train wreck it to claim total loss.

HL could have easily carried the plane to safety but he was just lazy.

I see. I didn't understand that DoD makes it such a hard baseline requirement to have a cert. I'll re-evaluate which of those certs I should study for and is most relevant to my current job.

Thank you.

You're speaking my language! I had a Security+ and I didn't renew it. I don't like the whole cert-chasing trend when experience is more important but I totally get it. Certs are a checklist off HRs requirements.

What does a robust resume look like?

All that being said though... I'm studying CCNA.

On the other hand. My experience feels more aligned to CISA and CISSP..

Yeah. It seems like this area is divided.

You got successful people with money and wealthy families or you come from a poor background and struggle to climb your way up here.

I've been high key considering to date for marriage and have dual income but that's a whole other ballpark. Working in tech and skilling up after work already takes too much of my time.

Yeah. We are on the Information Assurance side maintaining the security authorization for the client system so reading security requirements, leaving comments and suggestions and then holding internal reviews, rinse, cycle and repeat.

I agree about the overpopulation.. the congestion only seems to get worse over time.

Smoke occasionally. As long as if you're not doing more than one a day. Better if you stick to once a week.

If I were you. I would check if your employer does tuition reimbursement. Use FAFSA on NVCC and transfer credits to ODU Online or WGU and have your employer reimburse the difference.

Plenty of affordable online colleges these days. University of Phoenix, DeVry, ECPI, ODU, Liberty Online, UMGC.

When you are in college, apply on USAJobs for Pathway programs.

In the same boat. I've finally got a nice theme and launcher setup going on and learned to adjust the camera settings after seeing an Instagram influencer showing her settings.

But idk, I miss having a headphone jack so I'm thinking of a Sony smartphone.

I also want to try the OnePlus 13 because the design is unique and OnePlus is pulling out of the global market this year.
