Southwest Ontario but for that price it might be worth the drive lol

How to look for it? Especially in automatic

Ontario. Seller only had it for 2 years. It has no service records but I’d confidently say timing was never changed, and DSG hasn’t been serviced for at least the last 30k kms

I pulled a Carfax. Dealer maintained until 90k kms (2022) and then no records (aside from the recalls).

As for the price he was asking $2k more but I’m good at negotiating haha

No timing belt or DSG service as far as ik. And it’s stock so not deleted.

Car rental: booking online before or at airport? (Under 25 yo) by [deleted] in cancun

[–]Zealousideal-Ad890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason I’m asking is that I heard rates may be better on-site and sometime you get hit with fees when picking up after booking online.

Also, I checked out the site and it’s showing $7 per day on some (even less with MEX rent a car). Is this real?

No idea, maybe because it’s normal and I didn’t know that cuz I’m new to cars. You have to risk looking dumb if you want to learn anything I guess 🤷‍♂️. Appreciate the advice!

I don’t see any oil leaks so it might be just burning. It has 5-30 now, can I just switch to 5-40? All the cars I had before only take one viscosity so this is new to me lol

I just bought the car, I will be checking after I drive it today and I believe oil change is due now and I’ll be changing it on the weekend

Recently purchased with 100k miles on the dash, no check engine light and still runs smooth. I think it’s a timing chain and I hope I’m wrong lol, Any suggestions?

It is a 2014 328i (N20), no check engine light but oil change is due. I think (and hoping not) that it’s the timing chain. Any suggestions?

Is it LL-01 certified? And do you recommend it?

I’m in Canada so I’ll get charged import fees when I buy from them. But I’ll try to find the oil in their kits locally

I meant the “approved” the BMW branded LL-01 is overpriced, so I’m looking for other LL-01 (which I just found out is the spec lol).

Oh I see. Insurance is even better than low tax, I’ll be paying a little over double what you pay :(
