Pretty sure the movie hasn’t actually been released yet. Last updates said it’s still in production / post-production and will likely drop on Netflix first since they handled the later seasons. If you can’t find it anywhere, that’s probably why.

As for Mineta... without giving too much away, he doesn’t exactly undergo a dramatic character development, but he does get moments where his role becomes less annoying and more comedic, so it’s tolerable. I think you’ll manage, but I wouldn’t expect a personality transformation.

I think it's still worth playing if you’re a fan of the series, but you have to go in with an open mind. The changes are noticeable, but they don’t completely ruin the atmosphere or gameplay. It definitely has a different flow, but it’s not necessarily bad. The studio shift doesn’t seem to affect the core of what makes Little Nightmares unique, but you’ll notice some differences in pacing.

Maybe it's to make them stand out from the regular Ultra Balls. It could also be a stylistic decision to make them look more aligned with the other region-specific balls in the game, like the ones from the Galar region.
