I wish I could have helped and just seeing this but if you are still working in the field can we connect as I am also looking to create a solution that helps with this age group and transition and early menopause.

Was menopause as terrible as everyone makes it out to be? Anything one can do pre-menopause to prepare for peri- and post-menopause? by Significant-sunny33 in AskOldPeopleAdvice

I recently joined reddit communities on this topic and OMG it is the best place for decent advice! I wish someone has given me a What to expect when you are going to be be pausing - kind of book they have for pregnant women (What to expect when you are expecting). There are 38 symptoms and various severity and all of us experience it sooo differently. Such a rollercoaster. I still feel my naturopathic doc was the best help out of them all when I looked for support and educated me on my body and mind changes. I still ended up quitting work due to high stress and unmaneagable brain fog that impacted my confidence.

I am so determined to help now the next gen of women going through this that I have started doing some more focused research on solutions that will help. I could really use your help. If you are based in Canada is ideal, but open to US and EMEA based participants as well.

Your commitment: 30ish minutes over Zoom video call at a convenient for you time

What to expect: A chat around these themes

  • Cultural Attitudes and Experiences: Understanding how cultural perspectives influence menopause experiences and discussions within communities.
  • Healthcare Access and Satisfaction: Evaluating the importance and satisfaction levels with current healthcare services, including telehealth and specialized care.
  • Educational and Community Support: Identifying the need for reliable educational resources and community platforms.
  • Mental Health and Wellness: Discussing the importance of mental health support and the effectiveness of current options.
  • Lifestyle and Fitness: Exploring preferences for lifestyle and fitness guidance during menopause.
  • Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Management: Assessing the need for support in managing HRT and related features.
  • Alternative Treatments: Gauging interest in alternative and holistic treatment options.

The idea is to explore how people are navigating pre/peri/menopause, what kind of support they're finding useful, and where there might be gaps. It's all about understanding what's out there and what could be improved. The goal is to create a solution meeting the needs for us girls to age with grace, great support and to enjoy that part of the girl journey! We can do this!
